Phoning it in because it's Wednesday night and, honestly, I didn't plan my time all that well in regards to prepping my blog for the week and I am DROWNING in not only things for the classes I teach but for my own kids. Ironic considering I wrote about how I structured me weekends to keep my life in order during the week! Humble pie, anyone? ;)
After spending over an hour trying to figure out how to pay tuition for a dual credit class, then combing my inbox for details on an upcoming event, then helping G find twenty phone numbers for a cheer fundraiser (spoiler alert - I don't even know 20 people - hahaha), proofreading a paper, tracking down a headshot photo for an audition and checking some Algebra homework I realized I need a night to just get my you know what together.
That said, GODSPEED to all my fellow moms out there digging through their inboxes and gloveboxes and just trying not to drop any of the 5000 balls we have in the air ;) Solidarity, sisters and see you tomorrow for some Friday Favorites!
Girl... I am right there with you, and I just have 1 child. I am a teacher, the RTI Chair and Testing Coordinator, and I am here to tell you that I am also very much drowning. I have no idea how I'm not dropping all the balls in the air.
ReplyDeleteGirl. YES. Same SAME. And we had the same kind of fundraiser for football it sounds like. I had to dig deeeep into the archives for those 20 names and numbers and then send out "I know we don't really talk but we HAD to include you in order to get the 20 so PLEASE feel free to ignore any call or text that comes through about football fundraising" texts. UGH. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteNot alone! We can do it. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are all ready to "get back to routine" except that . . . WE FORGOT THE ROUTINE.
