Friday Favorites

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

Happy Friday, friends! We're HOME and as much as I LOVED our trip being at home (with our pets!) and in our space is my absolute FAVORITE! What's not my FAVORITE is Frank's new party trick...

G has been really into baking lately and she whipped up this cookie cake yesterday.  It's always a fan FAVORITE at our house...

... my FAVORITE part of baking are the fractions ;) We've been going over improper fractions and mixed numbers and reviewing while baking is my FAVORITE.

My FAVORITE souvenirs are ornaments and when I don't have time to search while we're on a trip I have fun finding something online that will commemorate the occasion (and then I don't have to worry about packing it and getting it home!).

... for our Rangers/Mariners game last week.

FAVORITE mug! (it's old but you can find one here)

I've had some really good luck with Amazon decor finds lately and thought I'd share a few of my FAVORITES. This brass planter is DARLING!!!  I just popped a potted plant down in there and it couldn't be cuter. (mine is the smaller size which appears to be sold out, but hopefully they'll restock it!)

I picked up  this brass/glass box and wasn't sure what I was going to use it for and then realized it was PERFECT for polaroids!

We got a polaroid camera in Washington and we had the best time using it.  But then I came home with like 80 polaroid pics so this worked out so well and really makes them feel special.

If you're sick and tired of your kids stealing your chargers/blocks/cords and then proclaiming their innocence you need  my FAVORITE three-pack of pink chargers.  Are they cute? No.  Does it clearly identify your chargers? YES.

Propagating plants is my absolute FAVORITE. A couple of weeks ago I trimmed off some leggy pieces from my begonia maculatta...

... popped them into water...

... and LOOK at those baby roots just starting!  I'll leave them in the water for a few more weeks and will then add them to the pot with the original plant to make it a bit more full.

Also propagating my prayer plant...

.. and a few of my pothos.  LOVE!

I ordered  this driftwood bowl and LOVED IT but it was way too large for what I was wanting to use it for.  The quality was great and it would be a quick way to add a beachy summery touch to your home.

This scalloped tray is DARLING...

... I even styled it with a little plant and swan that I found at an antique store.  I'm still debating on whether or not it's going to stay because I LOVE it but it needs a designated spot which I'm working on ;)

FAVORITES!!!

And Jelly Bean's FAVORITE is always a sunny spot ;)

Last, but not least - it wouldn't be a Friday Favorites post in the summer without at least one BLT picture.  This one features salt and vinegar kettle chips and Rainier cherries.  Amen.

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  1. I read something recently that said putting salt and vinegar chips in the freezer is a game changer. I haven't tried because they're not my fave but maybe you'd like it :).
