Momfessionals: A (Sun)Day in the Life

Hey, friends! It's been a while since I did a weekend day in the life and I'm not sure I've ever shared a Sunday so I decided to document last Sunday and share all the fun ;)

My alarm was set for 7:00 so I could take a shower and I ended up waking up at 6:00 feeling like somebody was watching me and LOOK WHO IT WAS! hahahaha. Our room is blue because there was some sort of sound machine ocean thing going on there.

I tried to close my eyes again but I felt wide awake so I read a little bit...

... until I dozed off again and then ended up waking up too late to have enough time to wash my hair. SIGH.

Griffin was singing with Children's Choir at church and had to be there early so I curled her hair...

... and then she and Dave left, I tried to salvage my hair situation and the boys got up. (PS - anyone else have a contractor bag of clothes to be donated sit in their bathroom for weeks on end? Just me? hahaha)

I put on this dress and was feeling super cute but then realized that it was 45 degrees and rainy out so I changed last minute....

... and then the boys and I got to church around 9:10. Dave brought G early and he dropped her off and then grabbed a coffee before meeting up with us.

The boys headed to their small groups and Dave and I headed to our class, but on the way got a little peek of our girl in rehearsal...

... I threw this in my purse on the way out of the door and we split this while waiting for our class to start. #goals ;) hahahaha

In a super random turn of events, nobody showed up for our Sunday school class. A bunch of people were out of town and it was just a weird fluke thing so we booked it across campus to go to the first service and got there in time to see G...

After service I headed home and Dave stayed for the second hour since G was singing and Luke was in his small group. I RAN with the extra hour or so I was randomly getting and got changed quick...

... and got busy tackling the general junk from a busy and late Saturday.

My FAVORITE cleaner of all time needed to be remixed...

I put on some music and got stuff DONE! Everyone got home around 12:00 and Mason helped me crush some boxes...

... everyone put some laundry away, Dave headed to work for some appointments and then the kids and I did our regular Sunday "fridge cleanout" lunch. I had some leftover Swedish meatballs and everyone had a random assortment of leftovers from the week.

After lunch we cleaned up the kitchen and then the boys and I headed to their haircut appointments.

SO MUCH BETTER!

We headed back home, I ran the vacuum for a few minutes and then Luke and I headed out to his YMSL meeting in Dallas. Mason and G stayed home to get some reading done for school and I worked on some school and blog stuff for the hour Luke was in his meeting.
