This is, hands down, one of the easiest recipes I've ever shared and one of the most delicious and I really don't know why I haven't been making slow cooker ribs for years and years.
What You'll Need...
- 2 cups bbq sauce (we love Sweet Baby Ray's)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 lbs or so pork baby back ribs
- salt, pepper
What You'll Do...
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray and lay your ribs in there.
- Combine the bbq sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Mix well to combine and completely cover the ribs with the bbq sauce mixture. Put the remaining sauce mixture in the fridge covered.
- Season with salt and pepper, cover with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4 hours).
- When the ribs are super tender and falling apart, transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (I used a spatula to move them since they were so tender!)
- Pour about half of the juices from the crockpot into the leftover bbq sauce mixture, mix and then baste the ribs with a bunch of extra sauce and pop them in a 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges start getting crispy.
- Serve with any remaining sauce.
I MEAN! Does it get any simpler? NO MA'AM IT DOES NOT!
Here's what mine looked like before I put them on the baking sheet...
... and after they were basted...
... and then after the 10-minute bake at the end.
If you give these a try I'd love to hear what you think!
Yummy!!!! The perfect fall supper!
