Today I thought it would be fun to show y'all a bit of what our game room looks like all decked out for Halloween. It is RARELY this picked up but it was this past weekend so I grabbed some pics and here we are!
Raise your hand if you've been following long enough to remember the little red kitchen up here! It's crazy to think about!
The skeletons move around but they've been up here for a week or so and somehow I'm still surprised when I come up at night and see them.
regular size skeleton
I found these spiders at Homegoods and added them to our chalkboard...
We've had the rug for a few years now and while I like the look, the tassels have taken a beating (it's not the rugs fault... it was having a puppy and then the kids vacuuming over them)
The pouf I got from the Midcentury Modern project and it's actually a vintage rug that's been turned into a pouf. It's filled with extra blankets for sleepovers.
The giant disco ball is a favorite...
The big green piece is actually an antique silk screen. The color is my FAVORITE and I love the story/purpose behind it. Who would have thought that something that served such an industrial purpose would one day be art! (it's from The Screenery)
My plan was to highlight our favorite Fall and Halloween books BUT homework duty is calling so I'm going to save that for next week - so be on the lookout!
I hope you enjoyed the mini-tour!
HAPPY WEDNESDAY, FRIENDS!!!
