Friday FAVORITES

Happy Friday, friends! I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I took Griffin for a super quick back-to-school mini session with BFaith photography because MY LAST BABY IS IN HER LAST YEAR OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and I got the pictures back and they're all my FAVORITE.

I've been eating my FAVORITE salad pretty much daily... spring mix with feta, craisins, chicken skewers from costco (warmed up!), pecans and poppyseed dressing.

This picture showed up on my FB memories yesterday and it perfectly sums up how I'm feeling about this crazy heat we've been having...

... a giant fan is my FAVORITE!

Griffin participated in a speech competition last Spring and got her award this week!  So so so proud of this girl and her blue ribbon!

A FAVORITE moment for Luke this week was beating 2048... anyone else play this???

If you're looking for an easy weeknight meal try out this recipe - it's one of my kids FAVORITES (we had it last night) and I typically double it.  Pro Tip - once you're done let it "rest" for 15 minutes or so to thicken up.

A FAVORITE scene this week has been Luke and Dave working out the kinks on a solo part he has for a pep rally next week...

I had to run into Target this week and saw this sweatshirt on my way to the register and the pattern was an instant FAVORITE.  Y'all... it's only $10!!!

Dance started back this week...

... and Griffin is SO EXCITED to be taking THREE classes with her bestie.  They're back in ballet (duh!) and are trying out jazz and musical theater.

Look at those babies from a few seasons ago!

An oversized puffer vest is one of my FAVORITE things to wear once the weather cools off and to cope with the insane temperatures I impulse-purchased this vest ;) hahahaha. I have it in a super pretty pink color and this green is just SO GOOD!  It's giving me hope that one day it won't be 112 degrees outside.

I also added  this shirt to my cart... I'll keep you posted!

Another FAVORITE has been getting to know Mason's friends as students and not just as his friends.  The SWEETEST group of boys!

If you haven't watched Father of the Bride (parts one AND two) recently do yourself a favor and watch one (or both!) this weekend.  FAVORITES of all time!

And my last FAVORITE is just a cute pic of G just because ;)

The boys have a cross country meet tonight and so we'll be sweating our tails off at that and then hopefully laying REALLY low this weekend.
