What a FUN weekend, y'all! Luke turned FIFTEEN and we had the best time celebrating him. I know I've said it before but I really can't believe he's 15 - it's just gone by so so so fast!
We spent Saturday morning at volleyball...
... and then I picked up the boys (who had been sleeping in - hahaha) and we hit up Chipotle for Luke's choice of lunch ;)
Steak burrito with extra steak. Because 15.
We spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging out - we watched a movie, went on a walk and the boys played Xbox with friends. I made apple and key lime pies because the birthday boy "just couldn't pick" and prepped his birthday presents ;)
My parents came over and we had Luke's requested dinner... smoked turkey and sausage (and I also made pulled pork) with a baked potato bar. Not mad about it.
After dinner Luke opened presents (yes... that's money tied to the balloon string)...
... and then we wrapped up the night with our neighborhood glow easter egg hunt.
Realizing now I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I would have liked BUT it was such a fun day celebrating our oldest. We're going to keep the celebrating going with some of his friends this week and then family later this month... because why would you celebrate one day only ;)

No, no, no. It was seriously just YESTERDAY that I was standing in my kitchen when Dave called and I didn't believe him because I thought it was an April Fools joke. That cannot have been 15 years ago!
