Family Fiesta 2023

We started hosting a "Family Fiesta" celebrating all three kids birthdays with our families back in 2015 when we quickly realized that April was BUSY and  it felt like A LOT to ask family to attend 3 parties.  The family fiesta idea was born and has turned into one of our very favorite family traditions.  Aside from 2020 we've had this celebration every year and seeing all three of my kids blow out their candles together NEVER gets old.  I'm hopeful that even as they get older we'll still celebrate them all together ;)

I MEAN!!!  Look at those babies!  This was the first fiesta back in 2015 ;)

The decor varies year to year as does the menu BUT the three cakes/cookies/candles tradition is a keeper

This year I ordered  these plates and  these napkins and everything else I pulled from home.

The plants I pulled from my windowsill and dining room table and I hung a banner I already had up on the fireplace and that was the extent of it!  Oh... and the leftover pink wrapping paper that I picked up at Hobby Lobby for G's koala birthday dinner.

I ordered Crumbl cookies for dessert...

... and stuck some cute candles in them because CUTE! ;)

I cooked a bunch of taco meat and had tortillas and toppings..

... and then we ordered our favorite quesadilla rolls and a few other yummy things from Anamias.

We ate, hung out, the kids opened gifts and we had cookies. It was PERFECT!

Dave's mom is a pro at gifting cash... this time she had Mason's inside balloons that he had to pop...

... griffin's was inside easter eggs she had in a cute little basket...

... and Luke had to assemble a puzzle that had clues to where his present was hidden in our house.  SO MUCH FUN!

IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT! :)

HAPPY Thursday, friends and adios to the birthday content for another 11.5 months ;)
