I felt like Valentine's Day was an appropriate day to declare my love for Chatbooks "monthbooks" subscription service.
I used to do a chatbook thing that automatically printed my instagram feed but I'd forget to edit it and ended up with pics I didn't want in my books and then lots of pics I wanted in my books just stuck on my phone. When I heard about Monthbooks I jumped on it and it has been the BEST!
Essentially you get a really nice hardcover book every month for $15 and you can design it to your liking. The interface could be a lot easier (in my opinion), but it's not hard at all and I think my process is probably slow going because I have way too many photos on my phone.
I've been trying to work my way backward and have done several previous years and I can't begin to tell you how much we've enjoyed having printed photos.
We keep them all in our tv console and I love the size and how they're all consistent.
You don't have to finish a book by a certain date so there's no pressure. You just fill them in as you go and approve everything before it goes to print.
I MEAN! Look how sweet!
I was SUPER overwhelmed at the thought of making photo books - it seemed daunting and I wasn't really sure where to start and I was afraid I was going to leave something out so I just never did them. These put limitations on thebooks (like number of pages) so it wasn't such an open-ended project and once I got going they got easier and easier. I don't do captions or anything because, again, I just overthink it, so our books are photos only and we have zero complaints ;)
You can click HERE for $10 off your order if you decide to give it a try and if you have any questions leave them in the comments!
One of these days, my kids are going to really wish I had been organized like you. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing about this. I have been wanting to make photo books of my grandsons, but I didn't know which service to use. Thanks!!!
