WHAT A FUN WEEKEND!!! We kicked off the festivities by a stop to grab some fireworks...
SO MUCH FUN!
Their little faces listening to this sweet gentleman talking about everything were KILLING ME!
We heard about a neighborhood bike parade and couldn't pass up an opportunity to decorate our bikes and wave some flags ;)
Loved their enthusiasm and creativity ;)
And I LOVE that they didn't think they were too "big" to do this.
It was DARLING and so much fun. HOT, but so fun!
Monday morning we headed downtown to the Red, White and BOOM parade...
It's one of our favorite mornings of the year.
Fun to be with friends, wave our flags and enjoy the square.
It's kind of a hodge podge of classic cars, big trucks, random groups walking, etc. and I can't get enough. It's so much fun!
Ran into one of my former students and her PRECIOUS baby boy!
We spent the rest of the day cooling off in the pool and prepping a few things for a game night with friends. We played a bunch of games, grilled burgers and set off some surprisingly aggressive driveway fireworks ;)
Andrea, I had to tell you, I made your strawberry dessert with peaches. The Georgia peach truck comes to our Pittsburgh area. The dessert was a BIG hit. Lol I can't tell you how many people ask for your recipe. Shout out to you!!!
