Last weekend I got Halloween all packed away and pulled out the turkeys for the next couple of weeks. My plan is to decorate for Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving and while I'm super excited I'm also so happy to have the turkeys and pumpkins out right now. Fall is my FAVORITE and I'm loving our house right now!
... and then filled the mantle with velvet pumpkins, greenery and a banner I got from Etsy years ago. The sweet shop isn't making the banners any more but it's one of my favorite decorations EVER!
Cute little pillow and another turkey...
... and in the kitchen I put a plant into this metal turkey...
... and filled the little pumpkin with my FAVORITE fall candy combo ;)
I put these festive dessert/side plates out to make it easy to grab them for toast in the morning, after school snacking, etc.
And have a few of our pumpkin cocottes out as well.
My FAVORITE plate...
... and a really pretty kettle finish off the kitchen.
In the dining room Griffin gathered all of the pumpkins from the Halloween mantle and filled up the cornucopia with them...
... and used a few more mixed in with the acorns in the living room.
Upstairs I put out some Fall/Thanksgiving books...
... and changed out the chalkboard ;)
And that's it! Next time I show my house it will be full of glitter and twinkle lights ;) HAPPY Wednesday, friends!!!
That pumpkin pie garland is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe little fairy lights speak to my heart too ;) .
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great, but your mantle looks absolutely amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love them. My Thanksgiving decorations are among my favorites. I love the first turkey that you have a shot of. I have a couple of the same ones that you do and really enjoy the contrast of metal and wood with pops of pumpkin color.
ReplyDeleteLove your mantle....where did you find the greenery??? and the lights????
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving decorations are my FAVORITE! They make me so happy!! My favorites are those adorable plates and pie garland!!
ReplyDeleteYour mantle is seriously one of my favorite things! I love it so much! I've been trying to recreate it since I saw it the first time. I think your Hobby Lobby must have a much better greenery selection than we do in Amarillo.
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing what you do with your mantle. Its always so fun. I don't have a mantle but I bought the same greenery garland to use around my house on tables. Also love your collection of turkeys. I have some that are very similar to yours!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks gorgeous, as always! By any chance do you have a Thanksgiving Doodle Town? My granddaughters LOVED the Christmas one last year, we made a huge mural of it on kraft paper and hung it in the basement. They also loved the Surf Shop one, so I was curious if you have plans to do a Thanksgiving one. Love everything you do, have a Blessed day!
ReplyDeleteYour turkeys are so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo, so beautiful! We have the BEST style! Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks great! Where/how do you store everything? I never have enough room…
