Today I'm sharing a super simple and fun Halloween craft that Mason, G and I did a couple weekends ago. It was quick, easy and the results were SO FUN!
We each started with a piece of watercolor paper and then sketched out a rough outline of a haunted house. I reminded them to keep it pretty basic since we were going to be coloring the whole thing in. They went over all of it in black pastel and added yellow pastel moons.
Then we painted sections of color using watercolors and then blended using more water.
They had a fun time making "puddles" and seeing what that did to their skies and then we added some yellow watercolor to the windows.
I participated as well because #fun and I LOVE how they all turned out. My plan is to save the kids in their art boxes and I may even frame them to pull out every year in October.
But for now they're on the fridge looking cute and spooky.
A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
