Weekend Happies - Red, White and Blue Edition

Happy Tuesday, friends!  We had the BEST weekend with lots of family and friend time.  It started on Friday when we headed to my parents for the day where we hung out, practiced driving...

... swam...

... met some neighbors...

... drove RC cars...

... and enjoyed some local barbecue.  It was the BEST day!

Saturday morning we went downtown for the parade and we were SO HAPPY it was back this year!

The weather was GORGEOUS and Rosie tagged along and made lots of new friends :)  She was in HEAVEN with lots of people loving on her!

TWINS!

Rosie with a new friend waiting for the parade to start :)

The parade was so much patriotic goodness and was just wonderful.

The star of the parade :)

SUCH a great morning!

And running into friends as we were leaving was great at well!

When we got home Mason and G decided to have their own Fourth of July parade...

.... we finished a puzzle...

... and then it was time to get in the pool with bomb pops of course!

Saturday night we ate outside...

... and played cornhole until it was dark and time to go see fireworks.

We found a spot close by and hung out and watched and then headed home for showers and bed because it had been a LONG DAY!

Sunday we did Church and then went and checked out a car show...

... and then came home to hang out and get a few things ready to hang out with friends that night.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE COOKIES?!?!?!

The best part is that they tasted great too - always blown away by people who can make these - crazy talented!

One of my favorite summer sights!

Mid-afternoon we met up with friends for swimming, TONS OF FOOD, and a game tournament.  We ended the night with driveway fireworks - PERFECT!

It was SUCH a great weekend that will go down in the memory books as a favorite for sure!

Hoping y'all had a wonderful weekend as well!
