7 Questions

I LOOOOVE the Revlon dryer brush! When my hair is when I add the Moroccanoil Treatment just to the ends (about 2 pumps does it for me) and then before I use the dryer I spray my hair with this heat protectant.  The dryer gets my hair super smooth which I love BUT it's almost too shiny and smooth so I will typically spray a bit of  this at my roots to give my hair a little more "mess".

My favorite way to unwind is generally anything that's quiet.  ;)  I'm with kids pretty much from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and so to unwind I like to sit in the quiet and do nothing. hahaha

I also love to take a really long shower after my kids are in bed and do my whole face routine, lotion, etc. put on my favorite pajamas and crawl into bed with fresh sheets.  I like to read and watch TV, sit out on the patio and talk, etc.

For fun I love to play games, go on walks, do crafts, etc.

For me it was just being pushed out of my comfort zone.  It forced me to be more creative and incorporate some new things into my classroom that I wouldn't have otherwise.  I feel like another unexpected positive was it being this kind of "bonding experience" for me and students and for teachers.  Kind of like, "we survived that TOGETHER!"  I'm so glad that full-time remote learning/teaching is behind us but am grateful for what I learned through it!

I want to say hot tea but then I'd have to have milk and sugar available at all times as well so I'm going to go with Diet Coke ;)

Generally they don't and if they do it's typically trying to be funny.  In all my years I've never had an issue with it and I don't anticipate having any mainly because kids don't care about my social media that much :)  I let kids know that if they follow or message me that I won't do either of those back but that I love hearing about what they have going on, chatting with them and having them show me pictures of their pets or whatever else at school in person.

I don't remember where I saw the original tutorial video (probably on IG somewhere) but this is a really easy to follow video that shows how I do her braids...

Just the regular!  Probably have a fun dinner before we head out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with friends.  It looks like lots of our neighbors are going to be participating and we can't wait!  Since it's not on a school night this year we may stay up late watch a movie outside on the trampoline after we're done trick-or-treating.  We'll see!  This picture was from a few years ago and it's one of my favorites ever!

Happy Thursday, friends!!!

  5. Californian here....still in 100% distance learning (began in March) and the county is not allowing trick or treating either. What would you all do if there was no trick or treating??
