What's Up Wednesday

Today I'm linking up with  Shay and  Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here!

I made zucchini bread over the weekend and we've been eating WAY TOO MUCH of it.  You can check out my recipe  HERE.

Our Colorado trip last year!  SIGH.  What I wouldn't give for some cool mountain air right about now!

I've had this drying rack since 2015  and it's still going strong.  This week it was JAM PACKED with bathing suits (I do a big load of suits once a week or so)...

... but I miss it being loaded down with tiny boys Boden.  I LOVED BOYS BODEN!!!

You can also find the drying rack HERE with free 2-day shipping

Sports are BACK and my kids are in HEAVEN!  It's been fun seeing them get back to things they love.  There are temperature checks and limited people allowed inside and no mouth guards allowed and a few other restrictions but we'll take it!

I'm on Season 6 of Call The Midwife and I'm already dreading it ending.  It's SO SO SO GOOD and I'll probably rewatch it when I'm done because I've loved it so much.

I'm going to be teaching Algebra 1 again next year and I CAN'T WAIT!!! I love teaching Algebra and am pumped to get to teach it again!  I've been working on lessons and videos and all of that and I'm even more excited.

Our pool reno is coming right along and we are SO EXCITED to have it wrapped up and start enjoying it.  (In the pic below we're still waiting on the new pool interior surface and new surfacing on the decking)  Now if the rain would just hold off so we can finish it up!

I'm almost done with  A Good Neighborhood and next on my list is The Dutch House.

Lots of bickering. hahaha
Seriously though - lack of outside time due to bad weather has turned the dial up on arguing over nothing at our house.  Just me?

Dresses all day every day.  Anything loose and breezy if you know what I mean!

Here are a few that I have and a few that I'm loving...

Getting my hair cut for the first time since December!  I was looking back for a picture of when I cut it and these are the best ones I could find.  I'm not sure if I'll go quite this short again... we'll see!

ALLLL  the red, white and blue!  A trip to Broken Bow and some other fun activities on the agenda.  I'm not sure what the 4th will look like this year but regardless it'll be fun!

I got  a new washer and dryer and I AM OBSESSED!!!  I'll share more details later but I'm LOVING THEM!!!

Happy Wednesday, friends!!!

  2. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about "Speed Queen" washer and dryers. I can't wait to hear what you think. They aren't "flashy and digital," but I'll never buy digital again. We recently had a repairman work on our 4 year old Samsung and he said NEVER buy digital again! (Ouch!!!)

    1. THANK YOU so much!!! Long hair is SO EASY but felt like I definitely got to an age where it just kind of overwhelmed my face.

  6. Also, I just saw that Shay did an Amazon page with all the stuff she loves. You should totally do that! I'm always searching your blog for present ideas and such. You girls have helped our family so much!

And by the way, your hair is still cute short, too. It's just so pretty long!
