Happy Friday, friends!!! This week has been a REALLY great one. No school responsibilities (for me OR the kids!) has been such a welcome change - we've gotten out a little bit and seen some faces we've been missing and it's just been a GOOD WEEK!
Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.
First up on my list of FAVES was getting to celebrate Manda's moms birthday with my FAVORITE little party girl ;) Any chance to cheer, scream happy birthday, make aa balloon arch, etc. she is HERE FOR IT! WE LOVE YOU, CINDY!!!
A trunk full of balloons is my FAVORITE!!!
The "tube slide" Mason was working on has grown A LOT this week and now extends to include one of our kitchen chairs. I keep reminding myself that one day I'l miss these creations :)
I've had lots of people ask whether or not Rosie sheds and the answer is not bad yet. After having a lab I always said I'd never have a shedding dog again and yet here we are :) We bought one of THESE TOOLS and have started using it with her to get used to it and look at everything that came off of her. All of that is not on my floors!
Art time this week has been a FAVORITE. Mason has been loving what he's dubbed "line art" and I think it's pretty cool too.
I picked up this set of markers and I think that has been the inspiration for a lot of the art.
No dogs in my bed was another FAVORITE for the week. This is going about the same as #outdoorcat ;)
We got to see my brother, SIL and nephews last weekend which was a FAVORITE for all of us!
ESPECIALLY Griffin ;)
I shared this FAVORITE hoodie on my Amazon Lately post earlier this week...
... and getting some gardening done was a FAVORITE from the week as well.
Lots of pool time this week has meant it was time to reorder our FAVORITE summer shampoo and conditioner for Griffin. It's SERIOUSLY incredible and the chlorine buildup just rinses right off.
Mason's class had a little event at the McKinney Little Free Pantry which was AWESOME! I honestly didn't realize how great and far-reaching the organization is and we're so excited to get to help out more often.
Dinners outside have been a FAVORITE...
... as have breakfasts that turn into Lego building sessions.
Happy HAPPY Friday, friends!!!
PS - this post contained affiliate links... thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!
Pool is not opening till end of June if then so I am needing to get inspired to get 4 kiddos entertained this summer! Might pick up those markers for one of my boys who loves art.

I know lots of people have been looking forward to pools opening :( Fingers crossed July works out for swimming and if your boys like art you really can't go wrong with any of the OOLY art products - they're all fantastic!
DeleteI mean....on the balloon in the trunk picture I was all sorts of wide eyed at all the ramen in the car! I was like, WOW. The McAnnaly's really like ramen! :) I was so happy to read about the food pantry! :)
ReplyDeleteWe do like Ramen but not THAT much Ramen :) hahaha
DeleteLove these posts- always something interesting to read about:) Love the pic around the pool and all the kids busy doing fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been SO NICE in the mornings we'v just pretty much moved out there to enjoy :)
DeleteSuch great favorites! The tube slide is so creative and fun!! And how nice that you got to meet up with family!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
ISn't it fun??? Mason's imagination never ceases to amaze me! And YES to getting to see family - it's been such a blessing!
DeleteWe need those markers over here!!
ReplyDeleteGIRL! OOLY stuff is the best - your girls would love the Chunkies paint sticks as well!
DeleteLooks like your summer is off to a great start! Let the fun begin;).
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!
DeleteLove that food pantry idea! More places should do that.
ReplyDeleteRosie's getting so big! She's too cute!
It's a really great organization - 11 locations all over McKinney, open 24 hours a day... take what you need, leave what you can. They have hooks on the outside of the pantry where you can leave backpacks (apparently a high need item) as well as jackets and coats in the colder months.
DeleteI just binged Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. I think you would like it. Hope they make season 2.
ReplyDeleteA couple people have told me about this! I'll check it out - thanks! :)
DeleteWhat a great week! Those nephews are soooo adorable!!
ReplyDeletearen't they the sweetest?!?!?!
DeleteMakes me worry to see so many Texans gathering with family members. Just because Texas is opening up more doesn’t mean the pandemic is over
ReplyDeleteIn our county the number of new cases has been declining despite things being open.
DeleteMcKinney playgrounds, parks, public restrooms and pools are all opening. Sports are starting again. Restaurants are now allowed to be open for 50% capacity. At this point we don't see being around family that has also been sheltering in place as a risk to us or others.
Always love to see what you're picking up on Amazon for your kiddos. You don't know how many games and craft supplies I've purchase for my K and 1st grade classes based on your recommendation! Thank you! They've all been winners. Next year I'll be moving to 3rd grade so I'm going to go back and look at your book recommendations for that age! :)
ReplyDeleteHi- came by to link up another post! Also wanted to let you know that I also now have a Link Party happening every Friday- would love it if you would drop by and link your posts:) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of Griffin with the sleeping baby is so precious! I love Luke's tubeslide; my boys used to create stuff like that all the time and I really do miss seeing their creations all around the house.
ReplyDeleteOutdoor dinner sounds lovely! It has been very rainy here lately.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lab and the SleekEZ is AMAZING for shedding!! It's also the best tool I've found for getting dog hair out of furniture (and I recently learned that that dead hair is what can create a "dog smell" so psyched that the SleekEZ works so well!!)
