Happy Friday, friends!!! Somehow this week has FLOWN by despite it being a pretty "regular" week around here. Everyone is healthy (PRAISE HANDS!) and trucking along at school and activities so there's nothing super exciting to report.
That said, I still have some FAVORITES from the week and Erika, Narci and I are so excited thay lots of y'all are linking up with us. If you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.
One of my very FAVORITE moments from the week was when I found these three yahoos sitting in a box, wearing bubble wrap hats and reading books together. I mean... what in the world, but also SO SWEET.
This sticker-by-number book has been everybody's FAVORITE this week and I'm going to have to order a second one this weekend. So much fun and all three kids are loving it.
I mean... is there anything cuter than Gary Patterson wrapped up in a towel after her bath??? FAVORITE :) hahaha (never thought I'd type that sentence, but here we are)
Griffin's FAVORITE UGG boots finally bit the dust for "public wear" (she's had them for 2 (maybe 3) years and they are looking ROUGH - which is perfect for playing outside, but not great for Church) and she picked out a new pair and is LOVING the sparkle :) Hers are THIS PAIR and on sale for 60% off!
(PS - I order up a size (or two) in UGGS to get a couple of years of wear out of them... she currently wears an 11 or 12 and these are a size 1... she'll wear them this winter, next winter and probably the winter after that)
I made my FAVORITE meal EVER this week and have been enjoying it for lunches all week long.
I wore one of my FAVORITE pins on Monday :) #dumpsterfire
And the kids earned free cone coupons from the librarian at school and so we cashed those in one night this week... Griffin always asks for whipped cream on top of her sherbet... which I think sounds so gross but it's her absolute FAVORITE.
FAVORITE game at our house right now??? Guess Who.
And there's my FAVORITE first-grader ready for her day!
A few of my FAVORITE pictures ever showed up on my FB memories this week...
... LOOK AT THOSE TEENY BOYS!!!!
And this pic of G is EXACTLY how I remember her at that age.
Last, but not least - I finally got to wee Little Women this week and IT WAS SO SO SO GOOD!!! Totally a new FAVORITE movie for me.
I seriously felt like it was perfection - but Amy and Jo were BEYOND perfect. I can't wait to see it again and if you haven't seen it I can't say enough great things about it.
We have a busy weekend ahead... all the normal weekend things... and I hope that y'all have a GREAT couple of days as well! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

HAPPY WEEKEND, FRIEND!!! And that bubble hat picture is AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteWe love playing Guess Who over here!!! And I can't get enough of Gary. ;)
ReplyDeleteGuess Who is SUCH a classic game. Love that!
ReplyDeleteI love the version of Little Women with Winona Ryder and Claire Danes and Christian Bale, so I was hesitant about this one. I'm glad you liked it and now I'll have to make sure I see it!
ReplyDeleteMy teen daughters loved the new Little Women movie, probably because of Timothee Chalamet, but I didn't appreciate the anti-American/leftist comments. Just totally unnecessary and not pertinent to the story. Plus, Laura Dern as Marmee didn't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteLoooved the new Little Women too! It was definitely a creative take on it with it jumping around, but it worked. So, what is the dumpster fire pin? Ha
ReplyDeleteI might have to look into those sticker by number books.

My son wants a snake (he's a grown man and lives on his own so I don't have much say) but I keep suggesting a bearded dragon because of you! LOL! I'd MUCH rather he made this choice!
ReplyDeleteMy town's FD responded to an actual dupmster fire on the same day you shared your pin on IG and I laughed out loud when I saw the pictures on their FB page! Gary Patterson in a bath towel made my day! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is you calling your children "yahoos". Legitimately laughed out loud.

Thank you so much for hosting the party.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,

That first photo just melts my heart! How cute. I haven't yet seen Little Women but I am dying to; it was one of my favorite books growing up.
ReplyDeleteGIRL!!! IT was so good!!!
