Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!! It's been a really "normal" week around here which has been so nice.
Erika Narci and I are all sharing our FAVORITES from the week and if you'd like to join us all you have to do is grab our graphic, link back to one (or all) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

First up on my list of FAVORITES was this project Mason made with his Kiwi Atlas crate last weekend.  It was such a fun one!

I was telling my mom the other day how I feel like we're such in a sweet spot right now with the kids.  They're so easy to take places, are getting so independent and aren't totally "friend-centered" yet.  Last weekend I took them to our FAVORITE pizza place and they we ate, played Exploding Kittens and laughed SO MUCH!

Two of my FAVORITE lil' stangs ;)

Mason got to run through the tunnel with the Varsity team on Friday night (and carry the flag) and how excited he was about it was my FAVORITE!

Griffin has been working a TON on reading lately and watching her make all those little connections has been our FAVORITE.

My sweet girl with some of her FAVORITE big girls was a FAVORITE part of last weekend for me as well.

Pumpkins are our FAVORITE!

And Saturday morning quiet play is our FAVORITE.

Festive outfits are my FAVORITE and I'm not sure how many years we have left in them so I'm making the most of it while I can :)

These cuties at their big brothers football game playing ponies were one of my FAVORITE parts of the game...

... as was watching this kid do his thing.

Her favorite part? The nutella from the concession stand :)

When we got Gary Patterson she had a mulchy kind of substrate in her enclosure which we switched out this weekend to a reptile carpet and it is SO MUCH BETTER!  I love how clean it is and Mason is convinced that it's Gary's FAVORITE because "she looks happier" :)

My FAVORITE part of October is watching the kids discuss, plan and pick out Halloween costumes :) This year is going to be GOOD!  We couldn't settle on a family theme so this year it's every man for himself ;)

G got to bring a stuffed animal to school one day this week and I'm confident that it was her FAVORITE day of the week...

... wait, I take that back.  Crazy hair day may have been her FAVORITE.

And this is me in my FAVORITE Fall outfit :)  L/S tee, joggers and slippers.  Amen.

This meme CRACKED ME UP SO MUCH this week.  This is us on late Saturday afternoons when Dave is heading into work and the kids are trying to clean up their rooms :)

This weekend we have all the normal things on the agenda along with (hopefully!) a cool front so we're all extra excited.

Happy Friday, friends!!!

  6. I feel like my kids are still in that sweet spot of being easy to take places and not yet wrapped up with their friends; however the attitudes and not wanting to go places with us is slowly creeping in...

  7. I love G's hair, and I don't blame you about keeping her in all the festive outfits as long as possible! I hope my little one wears them forever.

  9. I agree with you about the “sweet spot”. Our kids were 10, 9, 7, and 6 10 years ago and I said that exact same thing...the oldest was a little immature for his age and the youngest just a bit more mature. They all liked/enjoyed the same things and, for the most part, were independent enough to understand rules and a,es and routines...
He next 10 years are great too.....but this time was so, so good. I’m glad you know/recognize it!! Have a great weekend.
