The fabric is flowy and light but still has some weight to it making it feel substantial without being thick. It's almost slinky feeling without being clingy and is one of those pieces you can wear casually, to work and dressier depending on your accessories and shoes.
I ordered it in the lolita color and LOVED the pink! It's not a color I normally wear but I am absolutely in love with the marled color and the length is PERFECT for me for school and running around with my kids.
And how cute is it with this bag?!?! I am a total sucker for stripes and I absolutely love the size of this tote. (more on the tote later!)
To carry the dress into Fall I'd pair it with an oversized cardigan or denim jacket and I think it would be super cute with tights in the winter as well. (My cardigan is old but you can click HERE for a similar one... if you end up ordering the linked cardigan make sure you read the reviews and sizing info and order accordingly to get an oversized fit!)
This picture gives you a better idea of the marled effect of the fabric... so so so pretty!
I also ordered the dress in the bay leaf color and it was only available in a size larger than my normal size hence the longer length. Also... let's all ignore my weird shoulder and instead focus on the bag that I was obviously trying to get a good picture of :)
The bay leaf color was SO MY JAM and I will totally wear this with a denim jacket and clogs (similar HERE) to work.
This one was a little too big for my liking so I'm returning it and crossing my fingers that I can find it in store in my regular size because it is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!
And while I'm there I may have to check out that spice color on the far left because it's calling out to my Fall-loving heart and how cute would that marled gray look with a denim jacket, sneakers and baseball cap for an easy weekend look.
You can click below to shop some of my favorite dresses from the Time and Tru line at Walmart as well as other cute totes!
Okay - so the bag. It is SO CUTE and I absolutely love it BUT I'm trying really hard to pare down my closet (I know, I know) so my loss is your gain and I'm going to send it to one of y'all!!! I had so much fun doing this with the beach bag last month and can't wait to send this off (possibly with a few other little goodies inside!). All you need to do is leave me a comment and let me know what the best part of your summer has been so far. The sleeping in? A vacation? Playing games until midnight? Let me know!
Happy TUESDAY and happy shopping!!!
PS - thank y'all so much for reading and supporting my blog - your readership means the world to me and I so appreciate you guys showing up and reading and supporting the brands that support me! This post was scheduled before my MWF blogging schedule and I'm so glad you're tuning in on an "off day".
