Friday Favorites

I'm not even going to lie.... I was thiiiiiiiis close to not pulling this post together because the Fourth just about did me in with all the fun and festivity.  BUT I grabbed some tea, rallied and here we are :)

I'm hoping that y'all had a wonderful day with family and friends and (fingers crossed!) have a long weekend on your hands today as well.

Erika Narci and I are all sharing our FAVORITES from the week and we'd love it if you'd join us!  Just link back to one (or all!) of us, grab our graphic and link up at the bottom of the post.
My first FAVORITE is pretty much everything about yesterday... first stop was the parade downtown...

... which definitely didn't disappoint.  We got there a little bit early to get a spot and Luke knows how to make the most of a few extra minutes ;)

Cute little friends!!!

Staying cool :)

I was a big fan of all the vintage vehicles and attire and the boys were all about the new camaros :)

Look at those cute babies!!!

I. Mean.

Griffin made herself some patriotic bracelets earlier in the week and I loved seeing her wearing her own little stack while she waved.

We didn't grab a family picture at the parade but we DID grab Sonic drinks and a selfie :)

Dave had to work in the afternoon and then we had friends come over for dinner and games and out of the 7+ hours we hung out I took these three pictures and that's all.

We ate, played games, worked on a puzzle (yes... puzzle people will relate to this! hahaha), played with sparklers, and had SO MUCH FUN!!!

Another FAVORITE from the week was Jack Bauer feeling patriotic...

A little rainbow selfie with my girl...

... and this cross picture that Mason was working on in the car.

There was a LOT of swimming and afternoon snoozing...

.... and we got to hang out with some CUUUUUTE babies!!!

And there was a lot of red, white and blue which is always my FAVORITE.

Happy Friday,  friends!

  3. Looks like a great parade! Ours was a little small and disappointing this year but we still had fun. We had all the family over for food and fun. Ended the day with the pool and fireworks in the neighborhood.
