Summer Stock Up with Walmart

Summer is RIGHT around the corner and I ran by  Walmart a couple of days ago to grab a few things and thought I'd share my "summer stock up" because there is some GREAT STUFF there right now!  There was a huge selection available and it was a one-stop shop for all three kids.  We're headed out of town next week for a quick summer kickoff trip and both of my boys needed a new bathing suit - Walmart had some awesome options that my kids were so excited about! 

Look at how CUTE and coordinating they are... and I got all three suits for UNDER $30!

I know Luke's eyes are closed... but such is life trying to get a picture of three kids who are anxiously waiting to jump into the pool. ;)  Each of their suits were $8.97 (Griffin's was $7!)  and I felt like they are a total steal since the quality is comparable to some much pricier suits I've purchased.

The boys suits are made out of this really lightweight four-way stretch material and they even had zipper pockets... which I didn't realize was going to be as big of a deal until both boys were shouting ZIPPER POCKETS!!!!

I also picked up these two and love that the outer drawstring can't come undone (YES!) but that there is an inner drawstring so you can adjust them.  They all have linings and after my boys climbed in and out of the pool multiple times there is not a snag in sight.

Since I was stocking up I also grabbed them these.  The orange on the left  are for Luke and are supposed to hit right at his knee and  the sharks are for Mason and are designed to hit above the knee - my FAVORITE on him!  Again - great feeling material.

I am obsessed with  these large zipper pouches and grabbed this watermelon print one to hold snacks inside our pool bag.  My favorite way to pack a pool bag is to have everything inside waterproof pouches and this one will hold an afternoon's worth of bars, fruit snacks and oranges perfectly. 

I also picked up these awesome "birkenstock style" sandals for Griffin in two different sizes because I love them so much.   The yellow fit her perfectly right now (she's wearing them in the swimsuit picture above) and the pink will work for next summer.  I was only going to grab one pair but for $6 I was afraid that they wouldn't bring them back and then I would miss not having them for her next summer :)  I love that they're velcro on the back but am honestly considering just snipping off the back strap altogether and making them slip ons for her.  I'll keep you posted!

NOTE: I can't find the cute sandals online BUT they're by  Wonder Nation and they're $5.88 in store.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I had stocked up on some of my FAVORITE sunscreens and several of them are available at Walmart if you're heading there to check out the swimsuits :)  

The rainbow pouch is sold out online but MAY be available in your store.

I also picked up our  super fun llama float on a Walmart run earlier this month ;)

I am ALWAYS on the lookout for a cute and easy cover up option and this black one was right up my alley.

It had really pretty lace details and I loved that it was longer.

The last thing that I grabbed was circle tote.  I love the colors, the size, the circle shape AND that it has a longer handle so you can carry it over your shoulder. 

Unfortunately (for me! ha!) the last thing I need right now is another bag BUT it was too cute to pass up so I'm going to mail it AND the black coverup to one of y'all!
