It's no secret that I'm always on the hunt for a quick and easy weeknight meal. My kids love sloppy joe's and when a co-worker told me about how she made them for her kids I tried them out that same night.
Here's What You'll Need...
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can sloppy joe sauce (or feel free to make your own!)
- 1 can flaky biscuits
- shredded cheddar
Here's What You'll Do...
Step 1 - flatten out the biscuits a bit and then press them into an ungreased muffin tin.
Step 2 - Brown and drain your meat. Stir in your sauce and warm it all through a little bit. Spoon the sloppy joe meat mixture into the biscuit cups and then top with shredded cheese.
Step 3 - Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes (mine were a little overdone at 19 mins), pop them out of the tin and enjoy! SO EASY!
My kids DEVOURED THESE!!! They were so easy and quick and, honestly, easier to eat than a traditional sloppy joe. If you have a sloppy joe lover in your house I HIGHLY recommend you try this method out.
Sloppy Joes are a staple at our house!
ReplyDeleteThey will be at mine now, too!
DeleteI make what we call "tidy Joe's. Use puff pastry and make little hot pockets. Super yummy and not messy at all.
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing except I use bbq sauce instead of sloppy joe sauce!
ReplyDeletePosts like these make me reallllllllllllllllllllly wish my kid wasn't picky. These look so good!
ReplyDeleteGirl! Could you do it with just ground beef and cheese and then let him dip them in ketchup like a burger?
DeleteThis looks fantastic! Do you think I could make them (without baking), and freeze them for later?
ReplyDeleteI'd probably bake them and then freeze...
DeleteI have been making sloppy joes this way for years! So easy! My kids would always devour them. I also do these with shredded chicken, bbq sauce, and cheese. YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteTrying then your chicken way next week! Thanks so much for the tip!
DeleteLooks delicious! Adding to our
ReplyDelete“Friday Family Fun Night” menu!
Thank you 😊
