OH MY WORD, Y'ALL! We were at Trader Joe's this weekend and they were sampling their creamy red pepper soup with slices of french bread. Yes. Ma'am. All three of my kids were RAVING about it which surprised me because I'd had it before and I didn't think they would be that excited about it. WEEEELLLL... turns out that they had added 1/2 of a round of the garlic and herb Boursin cheese and there was the garlic spread on the bread. I can't even explain how delicious this was. Life changing seems a bit dramatic, but also pretty accurate :) TRUST ME and try it!
Valentine's Days past! Our days of #allthefestiveoutfits is long gone but I always have fun reminiscing about them...
I ordered this kitty magnet set and was so impressed with how cute (and convenient) it is! The little outfits are precious and I love that Griffin can keep everything contained in the tin. It's the perfect thing to take to restaurants, in the car, waiting rooms, etc.
I really can't say enough great things about how sweet it is - it would be a great little Valentine's gift, Easter basket stuffer, etc.
I put all of the extra pieces in a ziplock bag rather than having them just float around loose in the box and it's worked perfectly so far.
A whole lot of "normal" which is just how we like it.
While I LOVE watching the kids do what they love - I'm kind of dreading the "weekend hustle" that's about to start up after a lovely couple of months with pretty much "blank" weekends. I feel like once activities kick back in I blink and it's summer!
I shared this "weekend in the life" video last Winter and I know that this year is only going to be busier...
I've been working on our January family movie and I'm loving it!
I've partnered up with Oventure and am giving away one of their Big O rings! The giveaway is happening on this post on my instagram feed so be sure to go check it out!
I'm catching up on the fourth season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix
And am in the middle of Educated which is BLOWING MY MIND!
I'm not sure how/why it took me so long to start listening to podcasts but I've started and now I can't stop! I've listened to and loved Dr. Death, Dirty John, Season One of American Scandal and I'm currently listening to Broken Harts. I obviously have a genre that I enjoy - but if you hav e a podcast that you love let me know so I can check it out!
I've been wearing these UGG sneakers non-stop all Winter.
We're going to ignore the tornado of laundry in my room and focus on how cute the shoes look worn with the sides "up"... you can even lace them up all the way to the top if you want them extra snug on your legs...
.. as well as how cute they look folded down (this was last week for Spirit week).
Lots of people have been asking if they're fur all the way into the shoe part and they're not - they're a super soft and comfy leather and I love them because while they're warm, my feet aren't super hot like they are in my regular UGG boots.
Nothing super exciting although I am planning on finally grabbing some pictures of our little playroom update and sharing that next week on the blog.
Valentine's Day, a long weekend, making some Spring Break plans, Math Olympics (YES!) and helping with second grade val-o-grams... pretty much all the fun stuff :)
In case you missed it - I posted a few new doodle town pages yesterday and I've been loving seeing your sweet kids coloring and being creative!
We don't really have any particular traditions - it just kind of depends on Dave's work schedule. This year it's on a Thursday (y'all know how much I love a Thursday #sarcasmfont) and I'm feeling a Dilla's run and movie night will probably be in order :)
Happy Wednesday, friends!!!
PS - this post contained an affiliate link - thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!

ReplyDeleteSo last time I was at Trader Joes they were sampling a soup. Get the Roasted Corn and Poblano soup, and just add some of their taco seasoning! OMG!!!!! SOOOOOOO good!
ReplyDeleteI haven't listed to American Scandal but loved the other 3. I am adding AS to my list now! Try Up & Vanished and also True Crime Garage. Someone above mentioned Serial. I got bored and didn't finish the first season but I'm enjoying the second season.
ReplyDeleteAlso A Killing on The Cape and Happy Face.
DeleteI can't wait to see your playroom update. Also, that sounds like a great way to spend Valentine's Day. I feel like once those spring sports start school is over in a blink for summer. I hope you have a great day!
