Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!! It has been the coldest/wettest week but y'all - we were HERE for it!  Coats, boots, umbrellas, fires in the fireplace... the whole thing.  I'm hoping that we get a teeny bit of Fall before more full-on Winter but it was a breath of fresh air after the most ridiculously long summer.

... and family dinners sharing  one of our very favorite soups and singing yogurt karaoke were a favorite too :)

Seriously though, if you've never tried Shay's sausage corn chowder do yourself a favor and put it on your menu for next week.  It is SO GOOD!!!  We add a couple of extra potatoes because we like it a little bit thicker but it's one pot and absolutely DELICIOUS!

We had dinner with friends on Monday night and this was my FAVORITE part :)

And then dinner with family on Tuesday night and this was my FAVORITE part of that night...

Another FAVORITE from the week was sitting by the fireplace at night.  Despite the chilly temps we avoided the heat and opted for some fireside snuggles instead.  Also, sleeping with the heat off under a big cozy blanket is my absolute FAVORITE!!!  Who's with me???

It finally stopped raining for a bit on Wednesday and I saw three of my very FAVORITE people spending their recess playing "Go Fish" :)

Last year I bought  this metal turkey bucket and used it to hold my kitchen utensils and lots of y'all loved it as well.  Well... it's BACK!!!

If you're local, Play Street is hosting a Fall Carnival on Sunday and it's going to be so much fun!!!  It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful as well and I'd love to see y'all there!

Her FAVORITE spot to be?  Next to the oven vent while mommy is baking a cake :)

I got this email this week and CRACKED UP!  If you're from Texas you'll get it... I mean - who doesn't want a charm from their FAVORITE burger restaurant!?!?!

I saw my FAVORITE kindergartener yesterday morning...

This weekend is going to be a whirlwind!  Mason's playing in two football games tomorrow, Griffin is cheering at a game and they both have team and individual pictures.  Luke has a birthday party to go to as well and then on Sunday we have family pictures, church, a fall carnival at Playstreet and our annual Harvest Party that night.  Fall Fun is in FULL SWING and we are loving it!!!
