Happy Friday, friends!!! Narci and I are sharing our FAVORITES today and we'd love for you to grab our graphic, link back to one (or both!) of us and share your favorites from the week.
These two silly faces were a FAVORITE this week and while we're talking about FAVORITES they've been each others favorites the past several days :)
FAVORITE Activities around our house this week have been "epic nerf battles"...
... early morning makeovers...
... coloring at our desks...
... a few dentiet/ortho appointments...
... watching hummingbirds out front...
... hosting friends...
... allllllllll the art...
.... afternoon naps...
... and windowsill dancing.
This FB post a friend shared was a FAVORITE...
... and so was this moment when we found Jelly Bean in this bag in our laundry room. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?!
Believe it or not we hadn't been to our FAVORITE place, Play Street Museum, a single time this summer so we headed to their Lake Highlands location (we hadn't been there before) to check it out.
The pizza shop was the cutest...
... they had an AMAZING Duplo table...
... and a theater with a stage and costumes :)
I wore this FAVORITE shirt and these FAVORITE sandals and was comfy for an afternoon of play.
Last, but not least... yesterday was one of my FAVORITE days.... I got out our "back-to-school decorations". I start in-service next week and I try REALLY hard for the kids (and me!) to make this time of the year as exciting and fun as possible since summer being over is HARD!
This girl was all about helping and her smile when Dave came home was my FAVORITE part!!!
Happy HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

That smile is so precious! Looks like she had a wonderful time at the museum too. That Nerf battle does look pretty epic. My boys like to buy Nerf guns but rarely actually shoot them because they are afraid of loosing the bullets. I know; they're weird like that.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture of Griffin is precious!!
ReplyDeleteAre the sunflowers real??? they are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI know you have posted about it, but now I can't find it when I want it.... the tin you use for the kids markers. Where is it from?!

I can't believe you head back to work next week. Someday I am going to come down and meet you at that Playstreet Museum, my kids would be in heaven!
ReplyDeletethe plates next to the sunflowers...those look fun! the one on top looks almost like confetti!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week. Summer coming to an end can be so hard. I love that teaching allows me to have the same breaks as my kids so I do feel so fortunate. I try hard to make it a fun time of year for us as well. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great week! The museum looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a fun space for kids to play—especially that stage!
