. Y'all know that I'm partial to my "Bomb.com Chocolate Chip cookie" recipe (the name was given by Mason) :) but I'm always open to trying something new and was SO PLEASED with how these oatmeal chocolate chip cookies turned out.
What You'll Need...
- 2 sticks of room temperature butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1.5 cups chocolate chips
Let's all pretend that I didn't forget to put the flour out for the ingredient picture above :)
- STEP ONE -
Cream the butter and sugars together.
- STEP TWO -
Beat in the two eggs and vanilla (don't overmix)
- STEP THREE -
Mix the flour, salt and baking soda together. Use a fork to fluff it up a bit and get air into the flour and then add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix.
- STEP FOUR -
Mix in the oats and chocolate chips.
- STEP FIVE -
Drop the dough onto a baking sheet (I used a 1/8 cup scoop) and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
DONE!!! AND SO SO SO GOOD!!!
These cookies were chewy in the middle with crispy edges and bottom. PERFECT!!!
I definitely think I'll add these into my regular baking rotation and would love to see what you think if you end up trying them.

Happy Wednesday, friends!
Maybe you forgot the flour for the picture because you also forgot to include it in the list of ingredients? :)

ReplyDeleteHi again.

ReplyDeleteHi Andrea! These look amazing! Are those the "goldtouch" baking sheets from Williams Sonoma?!
ReplyDeleteIs there someone who can answer my question..."WHERE is the full recipe (ingredients and steps) that can be printed?" I tried to print the recipe for a pumpkin cake, and ended up with lots of sheets with photos. The cake turned out delicious!!
