Thanksgiving Touches

I have no clue what is happening with my comment section today - ugh!!! Hoping I can get it working later tonight.  SO SORRY!!!

As anxious as I am to bring down the trees and stockings I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to the pumpkins yet so I packed up the jack-o-lanterns and freshened things up with a few Thanksgiving touches.

In the living room I added in the Give Thanks sign, changed out my Sid Dickens tile and added the kids picture back in.

In the entryway I added in a little turkey and called it a day.

In the dining room I removed all the mercury glass pumpkins and kept the centerpiece super simple...

... and added a Fall garland on the buffet.

In the family room I switched out the mantle (these were the pumpkins and greenery from the dining room table)...

... and added a couple of festive touches (like the pillow and turkey)....

This little handprint turkey was one of Luke's!

In the kitchen I have a few festive dish towels...

... and my turkey bucket I'm using as a utensil holder.

I switched out our Halloween plates for Thanksgiving ones...

... and added one of my favorite little decor items to the hutch.

On the desk I like to keep a stack of napkins to add to lunches...

... and a cute and easy turkey centerpiece on the table was the finishing touch.

My plan is to pull out Christmas out at the end of next week (EEEEEK!) but in the meantime we're enjoying the last little bit of Fall.

If you're looking for a few last-minute Thanksgiving touches you can shop the items below (some are things I have and some are things I don't have but LOVE!)

Can y'all even believe that it's almost time to pull Christmas decor out?  I can't at all!

So I'm curious... do you hold out until after Thanksgiving to decorate or are you already decking your halls?

Blogger question, what is the little shopping scroll picture bar at the bottom of your post? It's so convenient for all your clickables. Thanks for any help!

  4. You have done such a great job with your house Andrea! You have so many fun pieces but have managed to arrange it all without making it look overwhelming or cluttered. I love it all!
