Friday Favorites - Favorite Art Edition

Happy Friday, Friends!!!  This week has flown by and we are wiped out and ready for the weekend.

Erika, Narci and I are sharing our Friday Favorites and we'd love for you to join in.  All you have to do is grab our graphic, link back ton one (or all!) of us and share a post packed with your favorites in the link section at the bottom of the post.

Earlier in the week it was SO NICE and riding bikes until sunset was my FAVORITE part of the week.

Mason brought home some fabulous art this week.  Any guesses who this is??? :)

It's me!!! Do you see the resemblance??? I'm even holding an umbrella and check out my eye  makeup!  He kept saying, "Doesn't it look so real, mommy????"

Possibly my FAVORITE art ever!

Luke brought home something pretty neat as well.  This technique is his FAVORITE to do and he was extra proud of this little notecard he made.

I think that everyone and their mom has probably already seen this - but just in case...

I can't stop watching and laughing.  My FAVORITE video from the week by far!
(the big boy shirt part and the very end KILL me!!!)

Luke decided to move up to the middle row this week and that immediately made him Griffin's FAVORITE brother.  She asked him to maaaaaarrrrry her and of course he obliged :) And they held hands all the way home :)   (ps - we were parked in the driveway at our sitters house)

Some days require a pitstop on the way home to pick up some of my FAVORITES.  Can I get an amen?!?! :)

I picked up this tunic earlier this week and LOVE how unique it is.   The fabric is CRAZY soft and it's long enough that you can wear it a lot of different ways.  I paired mine with an Evy's Tree sweater and scarf and half tucked it in at the front.  COMFY and cute!

It's long enough in the front that you could wear it as a coverup as well... I wouldn't do it as a dress because I think if you raised your arms too high you might have a "situation" in the front :)  You could easily do an extender or slip under it though and be fine.

When the boys go to basketball practices on Wednesday nights Griffin and I have "girls night in".  She LOVES a good bubble bath - especially when it's PINK!!!  We use these tub colors and just drop a couple of the red ones in.  Before the bath was over we dropped in a couple of blue as well and watched the water turn from pink to purple.  The tub colors last us for a long time and they make a great stocking/Easter basket stuffer!

I feel like the craziest time in our house is right before bedtime.  We "wind down" and everything and then when it's time to head upstairs all "you know what" breaks loose.  It's crazy and hectic and kind of my FAVORITE ;)

I ordered these clips earlier this week for Griffin and they arrived yesterday and I can already tell that they're going to be FAVORITES at our house.  I wanted something small (but still super cute!) and I absolutely adore them.  I picked my own colors to make the sets and can see her wearing these all the time.

And last but not least, when we had our playdate with several of the boys friends last weekend, one of them had this Pokemon book and ALL the boys were clamoring over it.  Luke and Mason couldn't get enough of it and so after everyone went home I hopped online to check it out.  It's $7.19 (STEAL!, right?) and so I ordered one for each of the boys.  I'll probably hold onto it until Valentine's Day, but this would be great if you're going to be in a plane or car for a long period of time or just need something to hold their attention for a long time.  I just ordered a few more to have on hand for birthday gifts for the boys friends as well.  Such a good deal!

I have NO CLUE what any of this means... but apparently it's pretty cool.  ;)

Today three of my classes are taking tests which is my FAVORITE because #allthequiet.... BUT then I have to grade them. hahaha  We have a weekend full of school projects/prep, basketball, dance, a big open house at school, a bridal shower and a birthday party.  OMG. :)

I hope that y'all have a fun weekend planned!  Happy Friday, Friends!!!

  2. I'm putting those tub colors in my Amazon cart right now. My little lady oils love those! (Do they leave a mess in the tub????). And why are all the kids obsessed with Pokémon? My boys would love that book.

    1. No mess in the tub at all! I do wipe my tub down with a towel though after they get out and magic eraser it a couple of times a week.... but that's more just my personality than necessity :)

  18. That Pokemon book is awesome...Apparently! My son read his so much that the pages fell out and we had to put it in a binder! It may as well be written in Greek. I have no idea what it says!

    1. My son has the same book and his pages came out, too. We took it to Office Max and they put a $3 plastic comb binder to make it like a notebook. Worked like a charm!

I love the clips, I cannot wait until my best friend's daughter turns a year....there is nothing more fun than shopping for little girl stuff:) I miss the pre-bedtime chaos at times. It gets awful quiet when they become teens:)) Probably so no one can tell they are still up:))
