Friday Favorites - Meet the Teacher Edition

Happy Friday, Friends!  We're wrapping up our first week back at school and and y'all... we're TIRED!  This has been a week full of meetings and trainings and cleaning and reorganizing my classroom.  The kids have been up and out early and had full days as well.  We're hoping for lots of rest this weekend before we head back to actual classes on Monday.

My first FAVORITE for the week is this mobile that Mason made at church last week.  He told me it was full of people who he loved...

... mommy, jack bauer...

... Luke, Daddy....

... Baby Beau and Griffin :)

I mean, how precious is that?!?!?!

Luke worked his way through all of the Captain Underpants books and he found a new FAVORITE series... Franny K. Stein! If you have a kid who loved Captain Underpants you should check these out.

The cicada noise is one of my FAVORITE sounds of summer and Mason's FAVORITE is finding the dead bugs and inspecting them at the dining room table.  ICK!!!

I snapped a picture of Mason on Monday and several people mentioned that he looked just like Ryder from Pay Patrol.  I good side-by-side is one of my FAVORITES ;)

Speaking of a good side-by-side...

EEEK! I she comparison shot of my and GG earlier this week and tons of y'all saw Mason in the picture ;)  I think maybe the coloring threw me off, but he definitely favors me.  Look at those little undereye wrinkles and the teeth!

And speaking of look-a-likes...

... we went to dinner with Dave's parents this week and she brought these pictures of him.
SO. MUCH. LUKE!!!

Right?!?!?!

We got in our Matilda Jane order this week and this sweet top is a FAVORITE!  I can't get enough of the big bow on the front!  And that big sparkle bow in her hair!

Last night was one of our FAVORITE parts of back-to-school time... Meet the Teacher Night!  We had been at school until 3:15, taken Luke to an appointment, run to Sonic, picked up Griffin and ran home to freshen up for about 10 minutes before heading back to school and when we pulled in this was Mason...

... the boys were SO EXCITED to meet their new teachers!

A little too big for my liking ;)  But I love how confident and at easy they are at school.

Luke got a teacher who used to work with my mom and we are so excited!  He was hanging out with his friends and I didn't want to break up the party so no picture.

Mason got Mrs. Hamilton (Luke's Kindergarten teacher) and he told her he was "a little bit nervous" about Kinder :)  SWEET BOY!!! I'm sure she'll have him at ease ASAP.

These three kiddos were troopers during such a hot night and they crashed in my room for a few minutes before they headed home with Dave and I got ready to meet my middle schoolers.

This new Essie polish is a current FAVORITE.

And apparently mac and cheese at a family dinner is Griffin's FAVORITE.

As is a boulder/stage :)

Dragging kitty on a leash is still her FAVORITE...

(Washing Kitty nightly isn't my FAVORITE)

And these thai chicken lettuce wraps were a FAVORITE of mine this week.

My new FAVORITE shirt arrived in the mail yesterday.  I didn't get home until late and I tried it on post-face-washing and while in my oldest pair of sweatpants - I'm going to have a coupon code for y'all on Monday - but I couldn't wait to show you!

So cute, right?? I'll grab some better pictures this weekend and will share the source and code on Monday.

My last FAVORITE for the week is a good one!  Y'all know how much I love Farmgirl Paints cuff bracelets... well, she has a small opening this weekend for these two cuffs...

You pick the blank and pick your words and she stamps it and puts it on the cuff.  They're GORGEOUS and make such great gifts.  (Think early Christmas shopping!)

I have several with song lyrics, special sayings and fun things my kids have said on them.

And you can use the code mini10 for 10% off your order.  She's open until 5 pm CST tomorrow!

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend! If you're looking for me I'll be lesson planning poolside :)

Happy Friday!!!
