Show and Tell Tuesday - What's In Your Bag

The past couple of weeks I've been toting around my Lucia Carryall from Nena and Co.  I bought this bag last summer (maybe the summer before??? I can't remember) and it's only gotten better with time.  The colors are vibrant and it's the perfect slouchy, quirky, boho piece for me.  Plus it holds a ton... and you're about to see why that's important :) hahaha

I snapped these pictures yesterday afternoon in between VBS and picking Luke up from Sky Ranch Launch camp and it had been a pretty non-stop day so far.

This cutie was there to assist :)

He also made me a bracelet while I was snapping pics.  LOVE him!

So there it is.  Yes, friends. All of that was in my bag.  In my defense some of it I had thrown in there just to bring it in from the van... so it wasn't like I had been toting all of it around all day :)  #doesthatmakeitbetter? ;)

First up, the all-important pink bunny.  She has been the stuffed animal of choice lately and is usually stuffed in my purse by teeny fingers if she's not being toted out to the car by GG.

I wear hats a ton in the summer and had this one in my bag from earlier this weekend.  I LOVE Judith March hats and have had the best luck finding them at online boutiques like Southern Trends.  If you follow them on IG and/or Facebook you can keep apprised of when they run sales and promotions :)

The "wet brush" has been an essential the past few weeks as Griffin's hair has either been wet or a hot mess of curls about 90% of the time.  The wet brush really has lived up to the hype for us!

This clutch from Nena and Co holds tons of lip glosses, a few advils, etc.

I get asked often about my iPhone case and it's from the AT&T store. When I bought the phone I didn't want to leave the store without a case and picked this Rifle Paper Co. print immediately.

Toddler sunglasses...

... key's with a Gilmore Girls quote keychain...

... and glitter shoes :)

Gum, a paci (which I need to get rid of because we've actually been PACI FREE for almost a week! WOO HOO!!!), and a tape measure...

... and my Day Designer.

So let's pause for a minute and talk about the fabulousness that is the Day Designer. I've raved about it before, but it is literally everything that I need in a planner.  Having the month laid out in front of me is a total necessity...

... but having lots of room to write daily tasks, notes and info is essential as well.

The paper is thick, the binding is heavy duty and the tabs are substantial.  It's perfection.

Twizzlers for the road...

... and an AMAZING book that I've been reading.  I feel like I read a section once, then process, then go back and read it again.  And maybe again.  I've been reading it for over a month - reading, pondering, and reading some more.

The chapters are topical... and I haven't read one that I didn't glean some great things to think about from.

Paint chips...

... wallet...

... and one of these  notebooks to write grocery lists and other things when I don't have my planner with me . If I don't write things down I tend to forget, so having a little catch all notebook is a lifesaver for me.

Prints for some frames for Griffin's bathroom...

... and a TON of the best pens ever.

See???  Not so bad without all the extra stuff  ;)

There you go!  What's in my bag!  Now link up and share what's in yours so I don't feel like such a crazy person for the random mix of stuff in mine :)

Happy Tuesday, Friends!!!

    1. I've heard about "It's A 10" before and need to just add it to my Amazon cart. Does it make their hair crunchy????

      Delete
    2. It's A 10 is AMAZING!! It does not leave your hair crunchy, but unstead, nice and soft. I bought it on Amazon, too, but then I saw it at Target. :) Highly recommend. ;)

    3. not crunchy, conditioned. and the best thing for curls, promise. it makes ari's hair ringlets and not frizz. lol

    1. Except that I counted and there were 20 items (including the purse itself) and 11 did NOT have links. Aside from that, I do try to provide links to things so that people who are interested can find them easily... and yes, some of those links are affiliate links (there were 6 in this post).

    2. Can I just say that I appreciate the links that you post? That way if I'm interested, it's easy to find. It really hadn't occurred to me if they are affiliate links or not. Thanks!!

    3. Jill - So glad you appreciate them!!! I always try to link because I know that I always appreciate links on the blogs I read - makes it so much easier to find something that catches my eye! Hope you're having a great day!

  26. I love reading these kinds of posts! (So weird I know). I am also a Flair pen lover. I have a set at home and a set at school and always stock up at staples during the back to school sale. Andrea, you should check out Better Life Bags. It's a company in Detroit that a woman started to give jobs to women who normally wouldn't be able to work. They're all handmade and you get to design your bag yourself. I love my BLB and it made me think of you!

  27. Have you ever had the Erin Condren planner, Andrea? If so which do you like better! Love hearing planner opinions ;)

  28. How did y'all get rid of her paci? Our two year old needs to give hers up but we don't know how to do it yet. It was a disaster when we got rid of our son's a couple of years ago!
