Plans to Relish

Well... it's officially Spring Break and this is how we feel about it...

We have zero plans for the week.  NOTHING on the agenda.  And can we talk about how amazing that is for just a second???  We have several house projects we're working on and the kids have requested a few outings (bowling is at the top of the list), but other than that my plan is just to "relish" ;)  No clue what I'm talking about??? See below...

The quote is probably my favorite EVER and it's a mantra I try to live by daily.  With no school this week I took Jen's advice to heart and just enjoyed.  Lunch on the trampoline, movies in my bed and lots and lots of card games  :)  I'll have a weekend recap up later this week, but for now - I'm off to a Downton Abbey watch party and my plans after that include bed ;)

Tomorrow is Show and Tell Tuesday and we're going to be sharing about our hometowns.  I'm excited to have more time this week to go through y'alls links and read about where all of you are from!

Hoping you have a wonderful Monday and get to relish the charms of the present today!

  4. Enjoy and relish each moment because its true.....it goes by in a blink of an eye. It seems only yesterday I was 27 and this week I turn 52 and at the end of the month my oldest will be 27. How is that even possible?! No more Spring Breaks here.....well my youngest is graduating college in 74 days! so she has one more Spring Break to relish......Have a wonderful week enjoying your kids!

  7. Oh I love me some Jen Hatmaker. Hope you are enjoying your break. Jack's Spring Break is next week and I am using it to take advantage of some one on one time with my boy before our new boy arrives in a few weeks. Trips to the zoo, childrens museum, the park, Chick-Fil-A, and lots of movies on the couch. I can't wait.
