Easy Winter Snowglobe Craft

While Christmas is over, we're not quite ready to let go of all things Holiday, so the kids and I made these cute little snowman snow globes while we were on break.

I took two different sized pom poms and used clothes pins to hold them.

Then we used the large pom pom to stamp three big circles to make our snowmen and the smaller pom pom to make snowflakes.

While we waited for the paint to dry the kids decorated strips of card stock with markers.  This part of the craft could involve whatever you have on hand - stickers, glitter, Bingo stampers, etc.

Mason painted Baby Jesus (far left) a menorah (middle) and an orange moon candy cane. hahaha

After the snowmen and snow dried the kids painted on the buttons, eyes, nose, scarf, hat and arms.

When everything was dry I stapled the strips to make a base and cut two slits in the base to hold the globe part.

It was easy and quick and the kids have loved having them on the bookshelves in their rooms.

Happy crafting, girls!  If you end up making snow globes send me a pic - I'd love to see!
