2015 FAVORITES

So today I was going to go through and highlight some of my favorite moments from 2015, but instead, I thought I'd share YOUR favorites :)  I went through and looked at the number of views on posts and am highlighting the top 10 from 2015.  So in no particular order...

This post from the end of July was way up there in views and I have a feeling it's because it's the post where I shared a KILLER crockpot lasagna recipe.

And as I was perusing the post I realized it was also the post where I shared one of my favorite memes of all time.

Next up on the list was the post about my most embarrassing moments.  This was not a shocker seeing how I shared more than my fair share of regrettable moments including sharing this picture of me in gauchos AND crocs.  #allthetrends

This post from the Spring made the cut and I'd like to think it was because I shared two awesome recipes (Zuppa Toscana and Taco Pie), but I think it's more likely because everyone came back to see which Prom dress our Anna Grace chose.

Day in the life posts are some of my favorite to read, and it looks like y'all enjoy them too.  My day in the life post from November was WAY up on the list.

One of my favorite moments from the entire year was going to the airport to welcome home some of our best friends and their new daughter, Ashby.  I think a lot of y'all were equally invested in Ashby's story because the post where I talked about getting to be a part of welcoming her home was in my top ten as well.

Griffin's big girl room was one of my favorite projects of the year and it was so sweet when y'all loved how it turned out as much as I did.

And speaking of favorite projects, decorating for back to school and sharing a wreath tutorial made the list as well.

Entertaining and having people over is one of my favorite things to do, and having all of y'all over for a home tour was one of your favorite posts as well.

The last two posts on my list were highlighting two of the most incredible and strong women and they were by far y'alls favorite posts of the year.

Meeting and getting to know Ashleigh Range is an experience that will mark 2015 for me forever.  I don't believe that her friends nominating her for a silly contest was any kind of coincidence and being able to share her story and be a part of her dream to raise BIG MONEY for Inflammatory Breast Cancer research is something that I am most honored to have been a part of.

Ashleigh passed away in July leaving behind her husband and two little boys, but she also left behind an amazing legacy of incredible faith.

And the post that blew all other posts out of the water in 2015 was when I turned the blog over to my dear friend Manda and let her share an update on her battle with cancer as well as a few things she's learned along the way.

And since I know most of you weren't able to attend the Women's Coffee House event where Manda and her mom shared their testimony, I'm going to put the video below so you can watch and be BLOWN AWAY by their faith.

If you're not already, you can follow along on the Manda Strong Facebook page for updates and ways to be praying for her as she is currently participating in a drug trial.

Whew! What a GREAT year!  I can't wait to share 2016 with y'all!

Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for reading and commenting and engaging with me here throughout the week.  I can't express how grateful I am to each of you for taking time out of your day to read and leave me feedback.  I so enjoy sharing my family life, shopping tips, craft ideas and musings and still have a hard time believing so many of you enjoy it as well.

THANK YOU and Happy New Year's Eve! I hope y'all have a fantastic night and get to ring in 2016 with lots of friends and family around you.  Me?  I'll more than likely ring in the new year around 9:00 with my boys and then hit the hay early because I'm determined to get #allthesleep before heading back to school next week.

See you next year! ;)

  3. Hi Andrea! I promise I'm not stalking. Lol. I had sent you a couple of emails and hadn't heard back. Since our emails don't seem to "connect", I wanted to check in with you and make sure you had gotten them. Hoping maybe to get the blog up and running this new year. Thanks so much, Niki Edwards
