Friday Favorites - Thanksgiving Edition

Little SkyeHappy Friday, Friends!!!

I don't know about you - but I'm stuffed ;)  We had the sweetest, most low key Thanksgiving and it was PERFECTION!!

My mom came over around 7 to help me get the turkey in the oven.  She snapped this picture for us on her way out and I'm so glad she did because I LOVE it!  Still in jammies and "real" ;)

Dave works on Thanksgiving and so it was a sweet family moment before he headed off for a full day at the club.

My mom took Luke back to her house and left me with these two crazies.  There was lots of snuggling and Duplo building.

They worked for a long time decorating place cards for dinner which was awesome.  I used cards from the same package I bought to make our Halloween cards.

Mason set the table for me and the place cards were definitely my FAVORITE part.

This sweet boy is always eager to help me in the kitchen which is my FAVORITE.  He helped me prep casseroles and corn and was such a big helper.

Dave worked until after 4:00 and when he got home my parents came over and my om and I finished prepping the meal.  While we were running around in the kitchen everyone else picked out their crazy hats ;)

Yes ma'am.  We cooked a 21 lb turkey (for real) and we cook the stuffing inside (like it's supposed to be - hahaha).

This is the obligatory food plate photo, and it's Dave's plate not mine :) hahaha
Homeboy likes to eat!

And possibly my FAVORITE picture from the day.  Silly hats and great company for the WIN!

So, next up - you knew it was coming - Black Friday.  I have zero plans to venture out today, but I do enjoy some online shopping.

If you're into boutique kids clothing Little Skye Kids should be on your short list of shops.  She has an amazing selection for girls AND boys, which can be hard to find in one stop.

Luke is wearing the coolest, softest little sweatshirt EVER.  He's super tactile and he asks for this one all the time, so I know that it's really soft.

This dress by Blu Pony Vintage is so incredibly sweet and classic.

It's incredibly well made and is a piece that I'll hold onto for years to come.

And this dress and leggings by Paper Wings is unique and fun.

The feather print and great colors sold me :)

I've always found that there's a plethora of girls stuff out there, but unique and quality boys pieces can be harder to find.  I had never heard of Appaman before, but I literally love all of their pieces.  Their traditional, yet unique and the quality is awesome.

Look how handsome Luke is in this zip-up!  And these jeans look awesome on him!

And I loved this teal Kira Kids tee on Mason.

Oilily has been one of my FAVORITE girls brands for EVER.  It's so well made and fun!  This dress and tights suited Griffin's style perfectly :)

hahaha - this is what happens when you have a camera in your hand and Mason is around ;)

And last up is this pullover - so cute! It would have looked a lot better with these pants, but they were in the wash when we took pictures.  #bloggerfail

  6. Have you ever shared what your husband does? It seems he has some great flexibility for your family, but then working for Thanksgiving? That's rough!
