Friday Favorites

First up is one of my most FAVORITE things ever.  Christmas jammies!!! There is NOTHING cuter or more festive than Christmas pjs.  The problem is that the cute ones sell out way early - so I'm saving you the hassle and telling you about the pre-order from Crystal Faye.  Go to her post on Instagram and follow her directions for purchasing . Griffin has several pairs of these and while they do fit true to size, I typically order up a size so she can gets lots and lots of wear out of them.

Y'all know how much I love letting my kids be "little".  They're only little once and I want to savor every single minute of it.  I am loving these "Let Me Be Little" shirts from Multiplicitees because of what they say and also because they're a reminder for me to do just that. And the moms behind Multiplicitees are the best!!!

I ordered this relaxed t-shirt dress from GAP a few weeks ago and I broke it out this week.

It is most definitely a relaxed fit, but in Texas in the summer that is exactly what I look for.

How relaxed is it?!?!?!  See for yourself :) hahaha  If you're pregnant, this could be a fabulous dress during pregnancy and after.  I'm wearing an XS and obviously it has plenty of room.

I wore it with Converse on Wednesday, but it will be just as cute with flip flops and a baseball cap as well.

It's on sale right now and you can find the solid colors HERE and the stripes HERE.

Luke has been ROCKING it at ice skating lessons lately (he just moved up another level) and seeing him skate is one of my FAVORITES from this week.  The video below is Mason's first time on the ice, but what's really impressive to me is Luke's backwards skating!  Look at him go!  His favorite part of skating is timing himself doing laps.  Maybe we have a future speed skater on our hands??? :)  I'll have to confirm with him, but I believe he's currently at under 45 seconds around the rink. Must be his Canadian side coming out (who am I kidding?  I'm his Canadian side and I can't skate around the rink in 45 seconds.)

Tuesday morning Griffin did one of her FAVORITE things - blowing kisses :)

After our "Just Luke Day" on Tuesday, I got to hit the grocery store solo.  And I picked up a couple of my FAVORITE things - tea and flowers.  And all while wearing one of my favorite summer polishes.

I mentioned earlier that Griffin has been pulling her diaper off CONSTANTLY and while we've been working on using the potty we haven't gone full force quite yest.  I'm planning on diving in to potty training this weekend.  Wish us luck!  These training unders from Hanna Andersson are my absolute FAVORITE!

I shared last week how I ordered 12x12 square prints for Griffin's big girl room from Scrapping Simply and how their pricing and quality was my FAVORITE, but they won me over even more when I emailed them about getting a reprint done on one of my pictures (it was my mistake - I uploaded a thumbnail) and they sent me a new one (for free!) right away and with a sweet little note.  Amazing customer service is my FAVORITE!

I'm happy to report that the blow dryer I posted about on Monday arrived this week and it is amazing!  My hair dried in about half the time it normally takes and was smooth instead of a major frizz fest!  It's my new FAVORITE hair product!  And it's half off, which is a total win.

Wednesday I took my FAVORITE seven year old for his well check and we confirmed that he is healthy and growing.  The pediatrician and I put the "eat your veggies" pressure on him and he showed the entire office staff his Lego set.

hahahahaha

PS I'm wearing my Home is Where You Are tee above and there are only a couple more days to order yours from Go Shout Love and show your support for Addie and her family!

Next up is a new FAVORITE, the Pink Poppy Shop!  Lauren is a mom of two girls who sews BEAUTIFUL, high quality clothing.  My mom sewed LOTS of my clothes growing up and I have a sincere appreciation for anyone who can sit down at a sewing table and create something well made.

The way Lauren picks and mixes fabrics is super fun and we were tickled that she asked to send Griffin a top and shorts set.

She wore it twice this week, once while giving Baby a thorough once over.

Love it when she smiles so hard her eyes squint :)

Lauren is having a tops sale this weekend on Instagram and just know that you have to be on your a-game if you want to snag one of her tops :)

The dress in the middle is from a previous sale - but I swoon over it every time I see it.  Sigh.

It was so sweet of Lauren to gift GG the set and I have plans to pay it forward in a fun way.  I'm working out the details, but keep an eye on my Instagram for more info ;)

Last night, Erika, Narci, Marla (Erika's mother-in-law) and I loaded up and headed to Dallas to support Sheaffer and the Accessory Concierge open house.

We had so much fun shopping, talking and even meeting several blog readers!  I always loving putting a face with a name and had a great time with some of my FAVORITE girls.

I picked up this necklace while we were there and I think it will be perfect for summer.  Great with a maxi dress or t-shirt and right up my bohemian alley.

I also grabbed this fun tassel bracelet as well as the turquoise beaded one (which I can't find on the website).

And since several of you asked about my outfit last night on IG, you can find my shirt HERE (it's sold out in white, but you can grab it in other colors) and similar jeans HERE.  My wedges are sold out in this color, but there are other adorable colors that you can check out HERE.

These three crazies (and their need to be ON me at all times) are my FAVORITES ;)  I love how as soon as one of them sits with me all of a sudden I'm a hot commodity and everyone wants a piece.  #momlife

We're looking forward to another low key weekend and officially starting our summer (with all three kids home) next week.  I hope your weekend is restful and full of your FAVORITE people.

Happy Friday!!!

  8. Can you provide more info about the Hanna Anderson training undies?!!! The website doesn't have too much info on them. Are they water (pee) proof? I think the site mentions plastic inside. Wondering if they would be a good transition for my 4yr old who has been potty trained for 2 years, but still wears pull-ups at night. Also have an 18mo old little girl who is deciding she wants to start potty training early. Hmmmm! Thanks!!!

    1. They're not waterproof.... they're MUCH thicker in certain areas than other pairs of underwear.... so they still leak, but are a little more absorbent.
