I'm happy to report that yesterday was another day full of happy. Minimal middle school shenanigans, happy kiddos and mexican food (and lots of shenanigans) with my girls! I'm hoping to keep the "happy" ball rolling all week long!
It's been a while since I've done a WIWW post, but today is your lucky day. ;) hahaha
Yesterday to school I wore one of my easiest outfits. I woke up late and needed to throw something together really quick. I ended up with a white polka dot top (I got it at Rack a while ago), my favorite denim jacket, black linen pants, wedges and a scarf. These linen pants are some of my favorite - but keep in mind that they're LONG! I'm wearing wedges with them and they hit the floor (which is exactly how I like them).
I like this outfit because it totally changes depending on the accessories I pair it with.
My scarf is actually a normal, lightweight, non-infinity scarf that I draped and pinned more like a blanket scarf...
Since y'all seemed to really enjoy my blanket scarf tutorial video, I decided to make another one to show how I tie my "spring scarves"...
I made this video after Dave got home last night and before running out the door to dinner with my girlfriends. I had time to do it one time, hence all the ummmms :) Hopefully it was helpful and made sense. I taught lessons on calculating surface areas of triangular prisms and cylinders, writing function rules and simplifying and factoring radical expressions yesterday and I feel like I was more clear during those ;) hahaha
If you're looking for some fun new scarves to try this out on, check these out!
Thanks for reading and watching and not making too much fun of my super awkward video skills :)
