It's no secret that I love me some "Hey, Girl". If you've seen my classroom or were around last Valentine's Day this news comes as no surprise.
So when someone messaged me a couple of weeks ago and sent me a link to a Hey, Girl shirt on Sassy Steals I snatched it up for Mason. Luke is starting to actually care about what he wears and when I showed him the shirt online he didn't "get it" and wasn't a fan. hahaha I decided to save my $12 for a shirt he would actually wear (like one that has Minecraft or Lego on it - ugh).
The shirt came in the mail on Monday and when I got home Mason tried it on for me and then this happened....
I've mentioned it before - but Mason was NOT a fan of Griffin her entire first year. He turned two, the next day she was born, and his little mama's boy world was ROCKED. On the eve of her 1st birthday (his 2nd) he announced, "I love Gwippin" and since then their relationship has only gotten better. They have a love/hate thing a lot of the time - but they really do play well together.
GAH!!!!! I so wish that this had been in focus (I am NOT a photographer AT ALL! hahaha) But I'm a sucker for toddler toes :)
The sun was shining and he was being cooperative so we headed outside...
I mean.... how is THIS KID going to be four in April?!?!?!
And speaking of getting way too big way too fast - there's Miss Priss and her crazy long hair :)
She was JUST a bald baby and now she's telling me to "shhhhhh!" :) #bossypants #iwonderwhoshegetsitfrom
She explored the playhouse for the first time yesterday (she's been out there before OBVIOUSLY, but this was the first time she REALLY wanted to play) and I have a feeling we'll be sprucing it up this Spring for her as she did NOT want to come inside.
This picture cracks me up, because I thought she was excited about ME but she was actually looking behind me because Luke had just come out to see what we were up to :)
Since he was out there I had to take his picture as well.... even if he was already in his PJs (because he's my child... and if I've been home more than 2 minutes, than I'm in my PJs).
Luke is WAAAAY less "into" having his picture taken (he's always been that way!) and so when I can get a natural, unforced smile (and therefore a dimple!) I count it as a win ;)

I am pregnant with baby #2 and I had to laugh because I was thinking if we had a boy I liked the name Luke and then my husband said the name Mason. Great choices, but found out we're having another girl :) Sent you an email inquiring about kitchen cabinet colors. Thanks again for your awesome blog!! You are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that you put those SAHM friends of yours to shame. You could work circles around all of them. They should be embarrassed at the stuff they post about their days. LOL!
