Friday Favorites: Speaking Of Edition

TGIF, Friends!!!
I'm not sure about you - but I am GLAD it's Friday!!!

If you're linking up with us, don't forget to grab our graphic and link back to one (or all!) or us :)

Momfessionals

First up on my list of favorites, this picture of G drinking a smoothie in a viking hat :)

And speaking of viking hats...

This week is one of my favorites of the school year - Homecoming!  Wednesday was Crazy Hat day for Lower School and Luke sported the viking hat to class.

Speaking of dressing up... Tuesday was camo day...

and I wore my new favorite pants with a Texas Rangers shirt yesterday for "Texas Teams Day".

And speaking of Homecoming, one of my very favorite pictures ever was taken during Homecoming, but way back in 2000 ;)   Yes - we were in marching band.  Yes - I played trombone.

Speaking of the year 2000, back then I would NEVER have guessed that 14 Homecomings later we would have the crazy crew that we do and that every morning my favorite little people would be offering me roly polies...

... necklaces...

... and party dances as I pull out of the driveway :)

Speaking of favorite little people, why is it that there favorite place to be is the fireplace where they're not supposed to be??? Little mischief makers. ;)

And speaking of mischief makers, look at what some of my favorite former student left me on my SmartBoard last night...

I popped into my classroom to drop off some things before tailgate and found this...

And speaking of Tailgate, last night I crowned our Middle School Homecoming Court and then ended up being the impromptu "spirit banner" judge.  MCA's Tailgate is one of my favorite school events - I love all the school spirit and creativity.

Speaking of school spirit, today is going to be JAM PACKED with fun (big assembly, kickball tournament, football game and dance!) and I've been running on fumes all week.  Well, fumes and one of my favorite foods, breakfast burritos ;)

And speaking of running on fumes, tonight at the dance (which starts at 10!) you can bet I'll be chowing down on one of my very favorite treats to push me through until 1 a.m. ;)

And speaking of pushing through, you HAVE to go read my cousin Tania's post on HOPE from yesterday.  She doesn't blog often, but when she does it's typically my favorite post that I read that week.  For realz.
Also - how stinkin' adorable are Britton and Aleeda?!?!?!

So.  There you have it.  Another week of random favorites in the books.  This weekend we have soccer and one of my very favorite parties all year... our BFG's Harvest Party!  We're crossing our fingers for dry weather and lots of fun with friends!

Happy weekend, y'all!!!
