Today we're linking up and sharing our kids rooms! I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing everyones super cute and fun ideas! First up is my boys shared room. Of course, when I went to take pictures yesterday it was cloudy and raining - despite being HOT HOT HOT and sunny about 20 minutes prior. So excuse my crummy lighting.
Standing in the doorway...
All the furniture in the room is the Hemnes series from IKEA. We love the day beds because of the crazy amount of storage under the beds. The drawers are HUUUUUUGE!!!

When we put the beds and shelves in there was this weird little "nook" in the corner... believe it or not this is one of their favorite cozy spots to play :)

This pic is actually from a previous post I did because I forgot to take a picture of their dresser. If you want to see pics of their room when I first put it together you can check that out HERE.

Weird lighting again in G's room this afternoon and yes.... her curtains are tied up because she keeps playing peek-a-boo in them and then getting tangled and tripping :) Crazy girl.
Her room is pretty teeny and is kind of a mish mash of furniture that we had. I figure we'll get her all matching pieces when we switch her to a big girl room (TEAR!!!)

I originally posted about Griffin's room HERE and not much has changed - except that she somehow got a hold of her GORGEOUS mobile above her crib, ripped it down and ate some of the paper butterflies during nap time. hahaha
I can't wait to see everyone's rooms and hopefully file away a few ideas for G's big girl room!!!
Their rooms look so cozy and comfty! Those little wellies in G's room..too. much. cuteness! Thanks for sharing :)

ReplyDeleteLove your rooms! The pops of pink are precious!! Love everything!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the rooms! The pops of colors add so much fun and flare :) And I never would have guessed those beds are from IKEA! I thought for sure they were Pottery Barn! Thanks for sharing and hosting Andrea!
ReplyDeleteHey Andrea! I've been reading for a few months now and I don't remember if I've commented yet. lol Anyway, love your blog and love your kiddos' rooms! I live in New England and reading blogs like yours lets me feel like I'm living vicariously in the South. Haha! That little blue and white handprint painting in Griffin's room is so sweet - I'm trying to figure out what it is so I can replicate it with my daughter! Or is it just supposed to be free-form and I'm way over-analyzing? (That's 100% possible.) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out your blog because I would LOVE to live in New England! hahaha The blue and white hand print painting is totally freeform. I picked out cardstock that matched the room (it was actually Mason's room at the time) and let Luke go to town painting pictures for his soon-to-be baby brother :) The frames are from IKEA. Hope that helps!!!
DeleteI love her bow holder! Are those clip things from Ikea!?
ReplyDeleteI have always loved your kids' rooms!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could style shelves as good as you do! I'll work on it for next month's playroom linkup :)

Your rooms are so adorable. In fact, your house is amazing. Some day...when I when the lottery...I am going to hire you to come and make my house as homey, welcoming, and fabulous as yours. We live in the same area, so I am sure you are available- right?
ReplyDeleteAndrea, you know I love your kid's rooms. Every single time I see them I think how smart it was for you to hang that mirror low to the ground in G's room! SO FUN!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Where did you get the storage bench in Griffin's room? I have been searching for one just like that!
ReplyDeleteIt's from IKEA (hemnes line I think), but I've had it about 5 years. Hope that helps!!!
DeleteI'm showing my husband the art work clothes line can you tell us how you did it?? Thanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteSure! It's an IKEA curtain wire
