Freshly Picked Review and Giveaway

I have something super fun for y'all today!  Freshly Picked is an AWESOME moccasin company with a great story behind it and I was PUMPED when they offered to send me two pairs of moccasins to review.

(Sidenote: how awesome is it that they have a printable size chart so you can make sure you order the perfect pair?!?!)

It was the Friday that Spring Break started and I was already on a "vacation high" and so when I found this box on my doorstep I was literally over the moon :)

I picked out the heirloom style for G (which is sold out now) and it was love at first sight.  The leather is thick, but still super soft and pliable and I could tell right away that they were great quality.

Mason's are the Swimming with the Sharks color and I knew he'd be able to wear them all the time.

He immediately put them on and we were off to a great start. :)

Mason is my kid who NEVER wants to wear shoes.  Ever.  He pulls off his shoes the minute he walks into his sitter's house in the mornings and we've never picked him up from Sunday School with his shoes still on :)   

He wore them to the Perot Museum for an entire morning and loved them...

And when we picked him up from Church today he STILL had them on! :)

He's hopped in them....

... mowed the driveway in them...  

 ... given me the "stink eye" in them...

 ... and been as "cooperative as ever" while wearing them :)

He's literally worn them every day for the last two weeks and this is what they look like...

 

... the color has worn off of the bottom and I LOVE it.  I love seeing his little footprints in the moccs and I have every intention of keeping these so when he's wearing big teenager shoes I can pull them out and cry :)

I've had a couple of questions on Instagram about whether or not I let him wear them out and whether I'm concerned about him stepping on something and hurting his feet and the answer is YES he's worn them everywhere and NO I'm not super worried.  He literally pulls off his shoes everywhere we go and these are the only option he's left on consistently.  LOVE THEM!

 Griffin has worn her pair all the time as well - and the timing is convenient since she is trying soooo hard to walk!  I've bought G TONS of cute shoes (and shoes that ARE NOT cheap!) and this is the only pair she can't pull off.  And truthfully, she really hasn't even tried to pull them off.  They're snug, without being tight (she's a chunker!) and I've never had to trace my steps back through Target to retrieve a lost shoe :)

Hers are getting teeny little footprints on the soles as well and again, I'm obsessed.

I will most definitely be a repeat customer of Freshly Picked and already have our next pairs picked out.  I think their current pairs will last them through Spring/Summer... so the next pairs I'll order will probably be "Fallish" colors like these...
