Goodbye Gerbrandts

The Gerbrandts have been a part of our small group for over 5 years... 6 maybe??? I can't even remember.  I don remember that Nathan was a newborn and we used to have lots of nice, quiet, adult conversations :)  Eight kids later our small groups aren't quite as small anymore.  Anyway, when they announced that they would be moving to California Shay, Rachel and I knew we had to do something to send them off right.  We decided on a pool party for the girls in our Bible study group and their families and it was so much fun!

Before everyone got to the pool Luke had the whole thing to himself... here's Mason pointing (his new thing) at Luke swimming all by himself:

Mason has had watermelon before, but I don't think he's ever had it by the "slice" :)

When on earth did they get this BIG???  I have a feeling that we're going to blink and they're going to be 14.

It looks like he's been in the pool, but that's just the watermelon juice he covered himself in :)

There was LOTS of jumping:

And LOTS of racing!

Smith was dancing and cracking me up :)

We were trying to wrangle the kids for a group picture, but first we had to get rid of the beach ball..

Okay, there are going to be LOTS of these group pictures.  I always have such a hard time picking which group pictures to post because in every pic someone's kids look cute :)

This picture cracks me up!  I think this is probably what we look like as a group most of the time :)
