Car Show

On Friday, Dave and Haha took Luke to the Dallas Auto Show. It was a big and exciting day for Luke that started with a ride on the DART train... He loved the train, asked lots of questions and "wants to go on the train again right now!" :)

Once they got there they sat in lots of cars...

The picture below cracks me up... Dave told him "no touching" and you can see from his hands that it's literally taking ALL of his willpower not to touch the cars :)

Then it was time for a rest...

... and then on to the motorcycles...

Haha bought him a couple of cars and so it was time to stop and play...

As they were looking at this car, Luke took one of his new cars, put it up on the platform, pulled it back and let it "zoom"... right underneath the spinning minivan...

... he was obviously upset :)

Thankfully they were able to ask the "ford man" to stop the spinning and retrieve the fire truck from underneath the car :)

They were there for almost 3 hours, and from what I understand could have spent another three (so not my thing, so I don't understant how anyone could spend that much time looking at cars). Luke is already talking about going back next year (and taking Mason) and it makes me smile to think about all the fun 'boy things' that these guys are going to get to do together!
