Let's Talk - Fall!!!

Y'all.  I can't tell you how excited I am to write this post.  My love for Fall runs DEEP!  Some of my fondest and earliest memories were in the Fall.  I mean... check out the pics below...

Algonquin Provincial Park...

Both places where I lived (well, I didn't live in the provincial park, but you get the idea) as a kid and then...

Raleigh where I lived from 2nd grade - 8th grade.

In Canada I have vivid memories of apple picking at Farmer Jack's and then coming home and my mom making apple sauce.  I remember chilly Halloweens and spending Fall learning about the Colonial period while at school in NC.  HUUUGE leaf piles and helping at our church pumpkin patch.  I loved when it got dark early and have lots of great memories of eating yummy soups around the table when it got too dark to play outside.

Anyway, I'm fully aware that it's still 90+ degrees here and we have a ways to go before we can break out our sweaters and boots, but that doesn't stop a girl from dreaming :)  So here we go... things that scream FALL... because if you blog it, it will come.  #wishfulthinking

- Fall Candles -

While I love my regular candles most of the year, from about September - November I'm all about a fall scented candle.  My favorite one is the Pumpkin Souffle by Boulangerie.  It smells incredible and lasts a long time.

These two are great as well.  And the packaging is so cute!

- Fall Style -

Fall style is the best style, can I get an amen?!?!  #allthelayers

I could go on and on about my Fall style, but instead I'll give you the highlights.

- Fall Fun -

Some of my most favorite family events and traditions happen in the fall.  Like...

And another from 2012 because OMG so little!!!

Our BFG has an annual Harvest Party that is so much fun!!!

Here's our crew last year

And then 2009 (I think this was the 3rd year of the party).

The kids dress up, everyone brings a crock pot of something awesome to share and we have the best time.

Here were my cuties at the party last year :)

- Fall Decorating -

And with Fall comes lots of excuses to have fun decorating :)

These bats were from our house last year... I'm so pumped to put them up here this year!

And you can't forget Thanksgiving!

If you're looking to spice up your Fall decor this year be sure to set your phone alarms for next Monday, September 5th at 8 p.m.  Caroline from Vine and Branches will be restocking her Etsy shop and you can grab one (or three!) of her awesome signs (if you're quick... she sells out in about 5 minutes).  I have my eye on the circular "give thanks" as well as the "forever" sign.

Well, that's my list!  I can't wait to read about what you love about Fall!

I think that what I love most about Fall is all the time with Family.   And the weather ;)

Happy (almost) Fall, Y'all!
