Friday Favorites - Lots of Random Edition

Happy Friday, friends!

First up on my list today are babies!!!  Babies of the plastic variety that is :)
Griffin's babies are her current FAVORITE as is dressing them, changing their diapers and lining them all up for feedings and viewings of Sofia the First.

The other FAVORITE pastime at our house this week is our new trampoline!!!  I'll have a full review with details up in the next couple of weeks, but for now you should know that the kids are obsessed!!!  We've been blessed with incredible weather this week and so we've gotten lots of use out of it so far.

Mason is a non-stop talker and I was sitting on one end of the trampoline while he jumped and talked to me about everything that happened at school that day :)

One-on-one time is this guys FAVORITE and we just don't do it enough.  Yesterday we snuck in some time together after school and it was the best!  Recharged and re-energized both of us!

And the beanie???  It's been a spirit week this week and yesterday was mountains vs. beach.  I went with mountains and donned my FAVORITE comfiest coziest :)

The weather this week has be thinking of Spring and one of my FAVORITE parts of looking forward to Spring is new Matilda Jane!  How sweet is this sneak peek?!?!?!  February 1st is release one for Spring and (as always!) I'll be hosting!  I can't wait to share the sweetness with y'all!

Boy clothes aren't too shabby either :)  Boden put out their new Spring items and I picked up a few things for both boys. There are several cute colors in the striped shorts that my boys both wear year round and the appliqued shirts are so cute this season!  And right now you can get 30% off!!!

I'm a total sucker for this cute bicycle and and star print :)

The picture below is from Christmas break, but when I put the paint on the paper plate, Mason told me that he was painting like a french guy. hahaha  I guess he thinks palettes are french??? :)   Things he says are my FAVORITE!

Luke's imagination is also one of my FAVORITES.  I walked into the family room to fin this...

That sign spins :)

The Happy Morning pictures I get from Dave in the mornings are my FAVORITE and he's been killing it this week :)

This picture I got from Mason's teacher was one of my FAVORITES from the week...

... as was the one she sent me of the love note he left her :)

One of my very FAVORITE Etsy shops will be opening again soon (with some special deals I can't wait to tell you about!) so start thinking of your words and phrases that you want to have stamped on your cuffs!  I'll have a discount code for you as well. YAY!!!

Growing up my mom always reminded us to think about "who you are and whose you are" and I love having it stamped on a cuff as a reminder.

I saw these wedges and they screamed BUY ME!!!  Fun wedges are my FAVORITE way to make a simple tee and jeans pop in Spring and Summer and these are so much fun!  I ordered up a size (7.5) and I need to wear them around the house for a bit before I decide if I'm going to keep them.  I'm particular about my wedges being super comfortable since I teach all day in them and after wearing these and these last summer I've been spoiled by how comfortable they were!

Oh hey, Jack Bauer! :)
"Rub me! Love me! Rub me! Love me!"

My last FAVORITE is super random - but super awesome.  Mason likes his hair spiky and the gel we've been using hasn't been cutting it.  I'd gel it in the morning and the hold wasn't great.  I noticed that when he got back from getting his haircut with Haha (my dad takes him and they get their hair cut together) :)  his hair was extra spiky and would hold even overnight and thus began the search for the gel Miss Martina uses :)  He told me it had a gorilla on it and after some research on Amazon he identified Gorilla Snot gel as the winner.  I was skeptical, but I trusted his memory and ordered and am OBSESSED!!!  I gel his hair in the morning and it still looks great after a full day at school (including nap time!).  It's under $7 and, despite the gross name and weird packaging, is the best gel we've ever tried.

Moco De Gorilla Punk Style Hair Gel, 9.52 Ounce

We are BEYOND ready for the weekend. Tomorrow I'm heading to Magnolia Market with some girls from church and I'm pretty much giddy.  The girl talk, the shopping, JOJO!!!  I can't wait!

Thanks for sharing the gel tip-my oldest likes his hair spiked in the front and we've never found the exact gel that works all day (he even wants it spiked at football practice) so I will grab some of this! 15. My son loves his spiked hair also. Another great brand is Got 2 Be Glued. I'ts more expensive, but it lasts a very long time! Be sure to read the directions, depending on which one you buy.

  17. I bet your students love your fun shoes! I still remember the "cool" shoes my 6th grade teacher used to wear (and I'm 46!) - Yoyo's! Do you remember those? Had a fun circle/oval cut out in the heel (I think they tried to make a comeback a few years ago but didn't really take off like they had years ago).

SO JEALOUS of your trip to Magnolia Market! PLEASE post all about it next week!

  27. I'm almost 22 years old and got my trampoline when I was 6 and my mom still says to this day it's the only gift she ever got me that she got her money's worth out of. It was my absolute favorite present EVER!!
