Santa Baby

Two weeks ago we met Narci and Santa bright and early for a quick mini session with the big guy himself.  Narci has an eye for the details and her Santa minis are no exception.  Her Santa and set are always perfection and this year didn't disappoint :)

You would never know it from Luke's pictures, but it was FREEZING!!!  FA-REEZING!!!

Luke asked for a rock tumbler and an x-box :)

Griffin was next, and her reaction to Santa was soooooooo much better than last year!!!
She  warmed up to him be opening some presents and then she was absolutely fine.

I showed the picture below to Kelly Beth over the weekend and we were giggling because we were in bell choir at church together through Elementary and Middle school.  GG's handbell roots run DEEP!!!

Then there was Mason.  Last year he was ALL ABOUT Sants, this year not so much.  He was inconsolable.  We tried everything - I walked away, I held his hand . I  was sympathetic to his woes, then I was stern.  Narci pulled out ALL of the stops and she shook her booty, pretended to toot on me and jumped around like a crazy person. He literally stood back there and cried, "I. Want. Mommy." the entire time.  I'm not sure how much of it was fear and how much of it was stubbornness.  Either way - he looked a hot mess in all the pictures - which I'm totally fine with because I know the day will come when they all give me half-smiles and we snap one picture and are done. hahaha

I felt like at this point he wanted to smile, but was making a point to carry out his dramatics through the rest of the session.  Sigh.

PRESH!!!

GG and Santa - #truelove

I mean!!!

She was trying to tell Santa a secret in his ear, but couldn't find his ear through the beard ;)

It was such a fun morning and I can't wait to frame a few of these to have around during the Christmas season.

And now for some outfit details for those of y'all interested...

  16. I feel like our 4 year olds are similar. Sweet sometimes, but more stubborn than a toddler at other times!!! I try all my tactics to get through and it still doesn't always work!!!! We are all in this together!
