Easy Peasy Halloween Craft

I've been itching to put out our Halloween decorations for at least a week now, but haven't had the time to do so, so the kids and I headed to the craft closet for some Halloween craft inspiration.

A few basic supplies and we were ready.

I laid out 12 popsicle sticks...

And then hot glued them together using 4 more sticks.

Then we got to painting!

 We let the paint dry...

... and then I glued on some magnets and a pipe cleaner.   Can you see where this is going???

I used a paint pen to paint a Jack-O-Lantern face on Griffin's and let the boys paint their own.

I feel like we should add these to the "Mason's awkward craft face" album ;)

How cute are our little pumpkin magnets?!?!?!

And if you're looking for a couple of cute, festive reads you should check out Click, Clack, Boo and Goodnight Goon.  We grabbed them from Luke's book order last month and the kids are loving them!

Have a FANTASTIC Thursday, Friends!!!  Tomorrow is Fair Day so the boys and I have a day off of school.  They don't know what we're up to yet, but I have some fun things planned for us.  :)  See y'all tomorrow for Friday Favorites!

  4. So Mason's awkward craft face reminds me of Chandler's awkward smiling face on Friend's when he and Monica were getting their engagement portraits done!!! Do you remember? Wait, were you like 9?

  15. Three things I love in this post:
    -Griffin wearing Luke's shirt
    -The faces the boys drew
-Mason's faces! He's about a year younger than my Emmet and they are so alike :)

  16. Hi Andrea, Definitely read Room on the Broom if you have not done so already. It is one of my kids' favorite books and I love reading it too. There is even a 30 minute animated movie that does the book justice as well. Happy Fall Reading!
