A Typical Morning

I've been really bad about posting this week, probably due to the fact that I've literally been consumed with upper respiratory junk from Monday until now. Luke and I both have some kind of junk that we can't seem to shake, and by 2:00 every afternoon I find myself covered in boogers. I know it's gross, but it's true. I pick him up and he lays his face on my shoulder. Boogers. Luke turns around and has a giant green nasty hanging across his lip - who wouldn't use their own t-shirt to wipe their child's snog :) I won't go any further, you get the picture. I think we're on the mend, and according the the pediatrician neither one of us are contagious, so ya'll can put down your "x fingers" (you know what I'm talking about??? When you put your fingers up in a little x to keep the cooties off of ya?!?!). I haven't taken too many pictures this week due to said illness and therefore laziness, but here are some from a week or so ago on a typical morning at our house....
Luke loves to wear his rainboots and will often attempt to put them on with his pj's, as you can see I oblige: On this particular morning, Grandpa had stopped by to say good mornin' just as Dave was heading off to work himself
Luke took it upon himself to point out each and every landscape light:

...and the mystery flowers as well.
Then it was time to wave bye-bye to Grandpa...
And take one last picture before Daddy headed out: Every morning after Daddy leaves Luke stands at the window and yells :)

So there you have it, a typical morning in the McAnally household, rainboots and all!
