Messy Bed

A couple of nights ago we put Luke to bed and he looked like this...

 ... sweet and peaceful.  We always let him take two books to bed with him, but that's it.

 Dave went in about 45 minutes later and this is what we found...

 ... dozens of books, dirty laundry, toys and TONS of pillows.

 We were able to clean it all up while he slept and then we snapped the first two pictures.  Crazy, crazy kid!

Dancing Queen

Friday night I chaperoned our Junior High dance - about halfway through the 70+ mph winds blew the power out and so we had over 70 seventh and eighth graders all dressed up with no music and no lights.  One of the reasons I love Junior High kids is their ability to have fun no matter what the situation, and despite having to all huddle together under the one remaining battery operated emergency light they all had a great time.  We took goofy pictures with the photo booth props and ate A LOT of candy.  :)  By the time 11:00 rolled around, the power was still off and we didn't have any more emergency lighting - we cleaned up by flashlight and headed home.  It was a memorable night!

Last Sunday afternoon Luke headed out the The Dye Course with Daddy and Haha.  I convinced Dave to take my camera along and take a few pictures...

He wore the cool sunglasses that Carter and Miss Sheaffer gave him for his birthday...

Sweet boy needs A LOT of practice :), but we're hoping that he LOVES golf! :)

Spring Pictures

I really wanted to take pictures this Spring since both the boys had just had birthdays.  Kelly did a FABULOUS job as always and we couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out.
