What's Up Wednesday

   Today I'm linking up with  Shay and  Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here! I started this post Tuesday afternoon and then was IN BED AND ASLEEP by 8:30 Tuesday night and never finished! So here we are ;)

All the soft foods because Luke had his wisdom teeth removed yesterday ;) PRAISE hands for mashed potatoes and gravy!

Here's a pic of Luke on the way home from the oral surgeon sending an ill-advised selfie to his cross country group chat because "I FEEL FINEEEEEE" ;) hahaha Griffin confiscated his phone immediately after this. hahaha

UGH. I can't talk about it too much because THIS WAS YESTERDAY! Someone tell me how we went from this to having an 8th grader, a sophomore and a SENIOR! A SENIOR!!! I'm going to need a minute (or a few)!

G needed a pair of white boots for cheer and I'm LOVING the ones she picked out. Can you tell she loved them too? ;) 

Trying to soak up as much summer as we can! It's flown by and we're trying to slow it down any way we know how ;) 

hahahaha ;) I'm actually SUPER excited about this school year BUT the getting back into routine is killer every year. Add having a senior to the mix and I AM DREADING going back. Sigh.

I'm working on going through the kids camp pics to print out for them - they had the best time!

I just grabbed this dress and can't wait to get it in! I love this style of dress and can't get over the tiny dmbroidered flowers. 

The style is perfect for hot weather but the color is giving Fall which makes it the perfect back-to-school dress.

I tried to watch The Summer I turned Pretty for a second time and FINALLY got into it. I finished the first two seasons while the kids were at camp and will give you my final review when I'm done with the third.

In full disclosure - several of G's friends watched it and she wanted to watch it too. I told her I'd preview it and it's earned a "maybe in a couple of years" rating in my personal book. 

I'm reading Where the Grass is Green and the Girls are Pretty and am EATING IT UP! It's everything I hoped it would be!

I'm listening to this on Audible and am LOVING it!

Getting ready to head back to school - so I'll probably tackle some giant project I shouldn't start like cleaning out my closet or purging the garage ;) 

Cross Country starts and I'm so excited to see these boys kick off their season!

MASON GOT HIS PERMIT!!! Y'all. I can't even talk about it ;) BUT IT'S SO FUN AND I'M SO EXCITED FOR HIM!  But also pray for me ;) hahahaha
