Friday Favorites - Lucky Shirt Edition

Happy Friday, Friends!  At 1:30 today we'll officially be on Spring Break and we are counting down the hours. ;)  We have no concrete plans next week other than spending lots of time together - day tripping and crossing some things off of our to-do list.

Excited to spend some time with my FAVORITE people! Even if they're a little bit crazy :)

I'm running the Friday Favorites show today and, as always, just ask that you grab our graphic and link back to me before you add your link to the link-up below.  Easy peasy!

I bought the CUTEST little St.Patricks Day shirt for Griffin and she absolutely adores it! (As much as she can like something that isn't a pink, twirly dress) :)  It's so soft and I'm excited for her to get a few more wears in before St.Patrick's Day (and then lots after)

We got back out on the golf course this week and those times are some of my absolute FAVORITE!

I think the kids were excited, too :)

I'm not going to lie - my FAVORITE part of our evenings out there are taking my shoes off and walking through the grass :)

The weather has been amazing this week - really cool in the mornings and warm (but not too warm) in the afternoons.  Despite my "winter legs" I've been breaking out some of my FAVORITE dresses...

(I actually only tried this on... I'm IN LOVE with it... but need to exchange it for a smaller size)

This polka dot dress is one of my all-time FAVORITES and I paired it with this cardi and these flats which I have been LOVING.

This Free People dress is several years old and the Lucky Brand jacket I picked up at Nordstrom Rack a while ago.  Mixing black with brown shoes/accessories is my FAVORITE.

These cinnamon apple sticks have become a snack staple at our house.  They're my absolute FAVORITE mid-morning snack.

I walked upstairs to find GG enthralled with Snow White.  Introducing her to some of my FAVORITE movies from childhood is so much fun.

I've been on the hunt for peonies and ran across this gorgeous ranunculus plant at Trader Joes for $5.  It's been blooming like crazy and I can't get enough.  My FAVORITE color!

And speaking of plants.... a few of my FAVORITE things in my Home Depot cart this week :)

Book Fair was this week and the boys got to pick out a few books each... Mason picked some really random non-fiction books and Luke got the latest from one of his FAVORITE authors.

(Right as I took this picture Luke was looking at something at the table behind me. hahaha)

This may have been my FAVORITE funny picture I saw this week :)

Mason had baseball practice last night and being outside in the GORGEOUS-ness was my FAVORITE.  Fresh air does us all some good!

Mason is in the teal shirt :)

cutie!

And my other cuties out there on the soccer field :)

Clean babies reading books before bed??? FAVORITE!

Well... I'm off to finish report cards! Wish me luck! :)

Happy Weekend, Friends!

  3. Your kids are so cute! Random question- how do you organize your kid's puzzles? I'm changing around our playroom and I'm getting hung up on some storage aspects. My kids are 4 and 2 so we still use Melissa and Doug type peg puzzle and like 48 piece sets. So they don't store in a box. Right now I have the puzzle pieces all in ziplock bags in a separate bin and the flat puzzle boards in another spot. Any tips? Just trying to figure out if there's a better way! :)

  4. I've been admiring the flat hair clips Griffin has been wearing lately. I've tried to google the description to find ones like them and haven't had any luck. Could you share the source? They are so cute!

  10. BAHAHAHA! That quote about asking God for a bike is HYSTERICAL!! I tend to be one to opt to ask for forgiveness for something after doing it instead of asking permission first...don't know that I would take it as far as stealing something though!!!

PS - You have the best style!!

  12. Is it bad that I have STILL never been to our Trader Joes?? I think I'm scared I'm going to come home with the cookie butter I got as a teacher gift from their one year...and pretty much ate ALL of by myself. (the shame!!) I have no willpower. Have a great Spring Break!!

  17. Those flowers are beautiful and the price, yes ma'am! Our son is suddenly obsessed with Dog Man himself...but I am all about whatever gets him to read. I didn't love it as a kid #spokenfromateacher. Your photos by the lake are beautiful! Enjoy spring break! xoxo ERIN

  18. Early evening walks are so relaxing! I had a zen moment just seeing all that grass stretched out forever:) Mixing black pieces with brown accessories is a great tip. Also I need to add those clogs to my closet investment list-they are so complimentary with dresses, and seem to be a real quality shoe. Good Luck on your grading-us folks here in Southern California have a month to go before Spring Break comes, and our family cannot wait:)
